Real shit I downloaded that shit like 6 years ago and thought I was gonna be the next Pharrell
takes like 2 weeks to get used to it then you can almost get your 9th wonder on.
Fruity Loops is the Rosetta Stone of beat making
Yo I'm a Oakland player what's been hood out there in Santa Clara mane? Hos is out?
Buddens gone be there, but I don't live in Santa clara anymore mane
lmaoo I did too
soon I realized I don't know what the fuck any buttons do.
I've got a couple of mates who make some really dope beats with FL but imo Reaon4>>Fruity Loops
I've been known to be a beast on Pots&Pans 2.0
Actually I suck on that as well..
It's so hard to find beats I like, too...
If you want beats that are easy to like listen to engineers beats, except the ones he raps on those arent as good
Engineer has been a beast with beats.. yeah.
lot of top industry producers use fl.. as long as you dont use stock samples/plugs its actually a really good program.

The software you used doesnt really matter..whats more important is having a good ear
I never took the time or patience to figure it out. Though I wish I did because I have no other way to make decent beats and the people I do know who make beats make shitty hyphy beats.
HAHAHA @ the tag "erik got lyricool swag"
Yeah, bout to roll up in ya hood real slow like
Fl studio is dope, very easy to use
theres nothing wrong with fruity loops at all.
its easy to use. i dont see anything wrong with that.
i think a lot of people hate on fruity loops these days because its not all complicated.
just dont use the sounds that come with it. theyre pretty corny sounding.
its more about what you make with it.
im an mpc/sp12 user myself, but still...i started on fruity loops (and still use it from time to time)
FL is a good dummy program, it has everything you need to make quality music. The stock sounds/vsti's are fail and are cheesy as shit. I have about 600 gigs worth of sample cd's & vsti's/vst's. I'm using FL 9 as well as Reason 4 (imo, Reason 4 is way to dirty and needs to much mixing/mastering) I also have an extensive sound/sample library that I either recorded myself, or chopped out of misc old songs.
Vsti's I use?
Spectrasonics (trilogy,atmosphere, trilian)
Native Instruments (Massive, Kore 2, Absynth 4, kontankt 4, orient world) have Komplete Dl'd and need to install it
Steinberg Hypersonic, Cakewalk Rapture, Chameleon 5000
And a shitload more that I refuse to list (proprietary...bitch)
