LINE LIMIT: Minimum of 16 lines, Maximum of 64
** NO RECYCLING, NO EXCEPTIONS **
•Recycling is the equivalent to that of a no-show and will be treated as such, thus resulting in a loss in favor of the participant whom chose to recycle and a win in favor of his/her opponent
•Extensions may only be granted if a moderator has given consent prior to a verse being posted in the match OR your opponent gives his consent. Failure to acknowledge an extension request results in it being granted.
•If granted, the extension will override deadline for both participants extending it for no more than 24 hours
•CHECK-INS are encouraged, but not required
•Verses MUST incorporate AT LEAST 1 of the provided topics or pictures
•A failure to show will result in a loss and a sign out by default. A no show in the tourney will result in elimination.
•If your opponent fails to show, you MUST STILL post AT LEAST 4 lines (4-15) AND 3 voting links in order to claim victory. A failure to post voting links will result in a loss.
•A Championship Title WILL NOT be decided by way of no-show!!!
•If an opponent fails to show in a Championship match, the remaining participant will be ranked as the number 1 seed, but will not be considered a Champion until a win by vote
•Upon your second no show, you will be suspended for two weeks of competition. A third no show will result in a three week suspension and a fourth will result in a suspension for the remainder of the season. There is no suspension for first time no showers.
    • Competitors are limited to posting 3 times in their own match, which allows for checking in, posting votes, and posting a verse. For each post over 3 unless deemed necessary by the mods, the competitor will be docked one vote.
    • Each competitor may only post once in another competitors battle allowing for a vote and nothing more, if you would like an explanation or to explain as to why a vote was cast a certain way, you can pm them or point things out properly in the vote to begin with. Violating this will result in losing a vote in your match.
    • A verse can be edited if and only if it is the first verse to be posted and the other verse has yet to be posted or it is the second verse posted and a vote has yet to be received.
    • Members found constantly disruptive to the league will have their sign-in ignored.

    Beautiful Creation

The quiet before the storm, surrounded by bliss
As a lone child stood forth shrouded in mist
He had arrived upon this ruined settlement
His face rigid & tort where evil was evident
An ancient war once raged these baron lands
As great civilisations passed through frail hands
The child closed his eyes & visualized
Vast buildings with neon glows that hypnotized
Riddled with greed, the streets unclean
Hookers on street corners, as young as fourteen
Brutal murders, the streets paved with gold
People chasing money while selling there souls
The child smiled, this was life, it was perfect
& the endless waiting in the end was so worth it
He opened his eyes, the buildings reduced to ashe
As great civilisations fell over petty cash

Right first of all, yes this verse isnt finished and im sorry for that
Something has just come up so i simply dont have time to finish it
i hope Patrown shows because i dont want to be crowned champ
due to an no show, anyways once again im sorry i ran out of time
to complete my verse, i tryed but failed, anyways hopefully this
    wont happen again

Spawned inside inferno's of souls from hell,
out flew a winged demon with a story to tell,
secrets known for ages, by mages lighting pyres.
Under the matron of hatred feeding our desires.
In the darkest depths before then, all aspired to return.
Molten flesh dripped off one lone man whose unconcerned.
Gripped by a look of death projecting hate at the dark prince,
his understanding eyes perfected his demon with one glimpse.

Seeing rise of rebellion, he bit him as cast from hell
Dark mists lift to reveal where the trojan horse now dwells
The size of the fanged creature dwarfed her as they kissed.
Surprised by strange features that form the one she's missed
She sits on the grass beside him, both not saying anything
Had lost everything waiting, displaying her ring
He explained her mother's pain and burning despair
Then told her how to release her, turning to avert her stare

Tearing open dark beneath required satan's presence.
it's there in his flesh, ready to consume as her present
She'll resent him on her breath, to saveher life,
but the evil blood within him made her end his that night.
"Here's my knife, take this scythe, think twice and forget it"!
Felt arms swinging, with all her might and his weapon's,
Then came a flood of answers, to any question ever asked
As blood lands on the tip of her tongue, satan laughs.

The rift her soul exhumes, making a wish swiftly.
Energy entombed in the world, giving its gifts quickly.
Then earth shifts, and begins molding to fit her every fantasy,
Tectonic plates folding within lift up heavenly canopies,
Untold numbers of demons wait to devour by their leige
when he's near she feels them, standing clear of her disease.
It was fear in a dream that's screaming pure energy,
holding the world with seams of sure symmetry.
An impure entity, evil genes offset the balance,
as somewhere in heaven, blood spilled from the chalice.

She hungered for respect, malice and fear,
feasted on his neck, with teeth like bone sheers.
The heathen bloods drips with the taste of hatred
Licked off fangs and lips, savoring evil

Breathe in; the oxygen, intoxicating decay.
Unleash hells occupants, skies rain the end of days.
Hellfire and decay scar plains of the Earth for eternity,
Burning men filleted in flames, in hurt and uncertainty.

and that's us, with past life's paint brush application,
the sins of an entity sent to be in the same situations

Kuja~ I really thought that I would be seeing you next week b/c Pat posted so late, idk if his verse counts or not, but as for your verse... you still delivered a concept in this story, sorta of political social approach and money becoming the axis of evil in the end.. i just wish you woulda gave us more..

Patrow~ well sir, you have earned your way on up into the champ spot perhaps this week.. and next week, I'ma be coming to take that from you so enjoy it while you can as far as your verse I will give you one last critique b/c next week grass-hopper you will be needing to defeat me if you intend on remaining the champ. you have good word placement, your rhymes are above average, they aren't severely intricate but they are consistent.. be careful to avoid cliche, be careful to be too deep as if coded.. but rather bring out the emotion and draw on the twist, try adding into some more internal rhyme scheme, and multi schemes.. strengthening your fluidity of the read.
