The appreciation is mutual man. I didn't do any research on this card, or most of the others tbh so I'm not as confident as I usually am about every little nuance.

I do think that Benavidez should be a bantam or lightweight. He shouldn't be with the 125 lbs.'ers. I hate the practice of weight cutting in general.

I would like to hurry up nd see Jose Aldo vs Frankie Edgar, thanks. But I want Frankie to still be LW Champ and these two meet for a Superfight at a catchweight.

It was hard for me not to pick him, those guys are virtually identical record wise.

FOTN there, and a good one to start off the card, we Torontonians are lucky!

News that HITS close to HOME

Charles seems confident on a belt shot,
though I don't think his chin could withstand Aldo's power...
EITHER way this is a fight to lookout for!!!
Jones is a nice guy right? Like him or not, the mans a fighter.
Interested in Benavidez at all? He is on the cusp of many mens dreams...

I'm truly proud of Canada for housing the first Flyweight Champion.
I know I've looked down on lighter weight classes in the past,
but this is nice for Toronto.

Anyone interested in what the old-timer has to say?

Benavidez had a lot of power at Bantamweight, that's the thing that's crazy about him. Johnson certainly has a chance if he can keep Benavidez fighting at his pace and if he can keep Benavidez from cutting him off. The only guy to beat Benavidez, Cruz, used his movement to frustrate Joseph, and Mighty Mouse is quicker than Cruz even. It's certainly not ridiculous to pick Johnson in this fight, but it's not my prediction.

Benavidez is a Lightweight, that's why he had alot of power at Bantamweight, and even more at Flyweight. That's the cheating advantage that weight cutting gives you, and that's why I dislike weight cutters and weight cutting.

Benavidez is a bad dude. Don't get it twisted. He very likely can win this fight; he's the odds-on victor. But again...he's a lightweight fighting a flyweight. That's just wakk. Demetrius must employ a hyper paced Frankie Edgar-like fighting method to defeat Benavidez, as well as copious gnp when/if he gets Benavidez down.

Part of me wants Bisping to win and move up and somehow land a title shot so that Andy can smash him.

Johnson won me as a fan. I did not think he would win, let alone make Benavidez look slow. Benavidez seems to have trouble with people with superior footwork.

Impressed again by Jones. Still think he's the best LHW of all time. Dude has been nailed by Machida and in a very deep sub attempt that hurt him and finished both fights. I think if Jones were to go up and fight Stephan Struve his critics mights run out of things to cry about (except him believing in god)

If Mighty Mouse had gone for the finish any harder he probably would have been finished. He showed a great game plan, but one cannot please everybody.
