Card sucked dick.
my guesses were a 100% flop
It's okay. Damn near all of earth was wrong about Lombard. The guy had some kind of Fedor-esque hype behind him leading up to this fight. Same thing with Palhares. And to think people said Brian Stann was afraid to fight Hector
On a better note, Boetsch might not posses a whole lot of finesse or a sense of really knowing what he doing at all times, but he is much better as a 185er than he is at 205.
lombard's not exposed from this
he wasn't outfought at all, he just didn't do shit
terrible fight and he deserves to be censured
but this says very little about his skills as a fighter
No but it's tells a lot about his qualities as a man, he will never be a champ in the UFC.
truth be told, if he wasnt fighting Boetsch then i would have picked against lombard.
i never brought into the hype that this guy could beat anderson silva, but i at least expected him to be a contender.
unless this loss lights a fire under his ass i agree 100%
where was the urgency and desire to prove himself on the elite stage
I mean, Tim Boetsch beat Yushin Okami. It wasn't the prettiest thing, and everyone knows Okami beats Boetsch 9 times out of 10, but it obviously means Boetsch isn't weak. Tim Boetsch has racked back to back heavily underdog status wins, he honestly should be more popular considering that.
Who has Hector Lombard beat? Ebersole via knee injury? Hahahahahahahaha Lombard should have probably seemed the underdog here in the fans eyes, but most fans are certainly strange.
close fights, and the first card that disappoined (main-card wise) this year.
Great job everyone. Updating soon. Figuring out Zyclon situation now.
thats too bad it sucked so bad
never been so glad i don't have to pay for ufc events
i'd have been fucking furious if i had to drop $60 to watch this or worse, $230 to be there
apparently the crowd started chanting refund after the event
I don't know if anyone had been paying attention to detail, but every event this year I have gone out of my way to say it was awesome.
THIS was the first event of the year, where the MAIN CARD especially SUCKED. If anyone paid for that I'm sorry, but with the injuries that happened to the card who were kind of a fool to as well (if it was your last 50 $).
weird how easily we dance on some people's graves.
glad we didn't see it so much with zaromskis or jorge santiago
great undercard, shit main card
fucking ryan jimmo gets an epic ko and lombard loses via 15 minute staredown
one of the most twilight zone worthy of all ufc events
that ko was crazy
he literally walked up to the guy with no technique and threw ONE right cross that ko'd him before he hit the ground.
i laughed my ass off at the mismatch.
the prelims were awesome
not to mention riddle being in the best fight of the main card
fav part of the ko was jimmo's handtrap.
his ko face was priceless. bisbing meets alfalfa
lmfao jay bee I blame the milk I was drinking, being all over my keyboard on u!
EDIT: I'm trying to do the updates b4 a workout tomorrow!
Honestly this is a double edged sword.
If you think Hector is lame now and the hype was Fedor esque, you also know that Tim BARELY beat Hector, and didn't really. These men fought to a boring Split-Decision. I for one bet Dana is kicking Stann's shins, as Hector fought the much more game-plan oriented Boestch who is willing to wrestle fuck, much like Hector is willing to.
Brian is a fighter and I dare say that would of salvaged some of Hector's beast. Here is hoping Hector comes back strong. BEFORE the reports came out to I thought this dude may be destined for WW (Hector), this dude is as strong as a HW and as small as a LW, Tim looked like a HW standing across from him, and Hector tossed Boestch's Grizzly bear body like it was nothing.
