Got all this info from my cousin.... so here is the run down.

This car will be in the Motor Trend challenge or some shit in the December issue. Oh yeah, this car beat every car out there...go figure a GTI...hehehehe

The VW GTI R32 is going to be the new AWD luxury 3.2lt GTI coming out soon. Stats look promising in stock form, but nothing to write home about.

It set the fastest car motor trend has tested from 0-30secs in 1 sec flat. Also would of had the all time best slalom record if they didnt hit a damn cone.

With the luxury of a fully loaded A4 and the AWD system that is pushing out about 240hp to the crank, is quite impressive stock for VW.

Well Now comes the performance. Although the R32 is not out here yet, HPA has got their hands on the car that will easy shock the performance world.
Thats right A golf that will be capable of running
low 11 high 10 sec passes
stopping power of a GT2 Porsche... and that is with stock brakes mind you..only HPA crossed drilled them
    0-60 in 3.2 secs.
Able to out handle almost every car in it's performance category
And all done in 110degree weather which sucks for a FI setup.

This HPA setup is a TT 3.2 lt Golf....pushing about 575 to the crank and 400 to the wheels. Yet again... this was done in 100 degree weather

So under the right conditions this would of been much higher numbers

Anyway this car ran 11.4 on stock tires and on pump gas.... shit all they need is some juicy race gas and even some drag radials, and you will see 10s all day long.

Here is the video of the car in action at California speedway

    Twin Turbo R32

HPA is setting up a time with Speedvision to test the top speed of the car. They said with the gearing and power it should be able to hit 212mph at 7200rpm

Guesses are this will be a 15 grand kit with everything... so with that and the car costing 30g's new when it hits....that is one good deal. Name a faster car for 45g's that can beat this car, and with a reliable kit.

Well the R32's are pretty nice.

Too many people ricing them up here though.

I did see this nice one at a motor-show.
    560 HP
    3,4s to reach 100 km/h

    I can check the details.
I know it was a biturbo(among other things).

Hmmm..Actually I think the kit you were talking about was tested on this car.

The stats seem similar and the price seems about right.

    and it was a biturbo.

I know where you can get the kits.

    You can get them here.

    Oh ok cool.

They have that same Golf R32 at the IAA in Frankfurt.

I was there a couple days ago.

    Didn't see the r32 though.

There's a lot to look at so I prolly missed.

    The BMW X3 is ok.

The were doing a bunch of tests with the Golf V.

Maserati had a couple new ones there as well.

    Girly...while we're talking about a golf?

lol. I'd even take "girly" over pocket protector mobile...

Golf is up there with pontiac Vybe....but more plain. You want engine, but ugly?...Get a camaro....and its even cheaper. Or...get better looking, cheaper, and much faster with a ta.

:)....whatever you're into though. Just dont see how someone that owned a supra could stand to look at something like a golf without being disappointed each time.

Golf on par with Vibe in looks, pretty bold statement coming from a cougar owner. Come on i really can't name one reason to buy a Mercury Cougar, doesnt look good, joke of an engine, interior is plain,..... i mean what really.

Camaro..is shit that is why. You will never catch me in any newer domestic v8 except for a vette. Fine since you compared a T/A to this R32, the R32, has better handling, better stopping power, and MUCH better interior.

Easy im a car enthusiasts. I loved my supras, i loved my lex, i loved my audi, and my gti's i have owned and one i still do.

Every car was made for certain reason. My Gti i had about 11 months ago...was nice. IT was a everyday car. It was a show/some what performance car i built. It looked good, never would of bought it otherwise, and was fine for what i needed.

My new current Golf like my Supra are built for performance. And both times i have succeeded. IF i was going all show again i would not buy another Gti, i would get something like an Audi, lex, benz, so forth and so on. Not to say the Gti is ugly, cause i don't even think so... i have seen your cougar with exterior mods and a GTi with exterior mods....and I still can't understand how mods can make a cougar still look....ehhhh at best.

    Explaining why:

In 1999 the cougar had the best detailed interior by far in its class, and among american vehicles.

The outside also has shitloads of characteristics and detail.

You're taking up for the LOOKS of a golf for christs sakes...lol. Are you hearing this????

    Wow.....I'm speechless.

Is this interior from the 80's model??....lol

Anyway...now argue with me and tell me it looks better than the cougars int.
