Read my conclusionary thoughts in my paragraph. You seem to have missed it. NO further response was necessary from my end.
fuck a minute long intro doe
Were the heck you been hiding Calvin.
Long time no talk.
Hope all is good with you.
Lmao@ 3 different posts about why you won't say what you think is good music instead of just being confident enough to post it and back it up.
Just admit that you hated on this and didn't expect that anyone would actually press you on why you think that it sucks in the first place. You have provided no reasons why this is "trash", only excuses on why you won't. That's not the approach of anyone with a valid opinion on anything, it's the cop out of someone with no real foundation or grasp on a subject that's going strictly off of preference. It's one thing to say that it's not your kind of thing, but if you're going to call anything "trash", you should at the very least have a prepared argument to why and what you're basing it off of. Your opinions don't "come off strong" because you're some educated dickhead with a high standard, it's strong because of the crassness of the comment, one that you've left with absolutely no credibility since you're too scared to have your own measuring stick become the subject of scrutiny.
You're labeling this as "good, for a battle rapper". Battle rappers don't have one specific style that separates them from the rest of rap. Soul Khan, Illmac and Lux are all completely different rappers, from their beat selection to production, ambiance to their actual rapping. Battle rappers are just rappers, either good or bad, that just happen to battle, too. Period. Some songs are good, some songs are bad.
I asked you to tell me one thing and to exclude classics and essentials just to see how eclectic your "taste" may be, but you couldn't even answer that. The emphasis on "couldn't" because you can't. So you wasted 2 and a half paragraphs on dancing around the subject.
lol every concept in rap is overused b
he should def talk about the hood and bitches though
Yes its been a min, but I do be around just not on tinychat any more lol
I miss talking with you...I see you follow me on twitter now...So holla at me whenever!
Your dubious and frivolous mind denies to reason with what logic itself predisposes to be as factual.
lmao@not even being able to use the word "dubious" in the proper context.
Brb gonna ask Jeeves who this nigga is.
as "simple" as this song is supposed to be it is still lyrically light years ahead of what's on the radio...the world is sad
lol some of yalll neggas is straight trolls no matter what you do
straight up and down this shit is good music. good hiphop. there is no such thing as a tired subject. if one subject is tired they all are. Its how you approach it, execute it that counts and this joint was just well done. Anyone that got anything bad to say about it is really just doing it for the sake of.
Lux' career is going nowhere but up. Hes a smart dude he knows what he has to do. putting out intelligent, well crafted songs and being accessible is going to give him longevity, or at least I hope. I dont wanna hear music from none yall neggas otherwise
I think as terms of music from a battle rapper this is real, real good.
If he keeps improving over the next year or so he can honestly break somewhat into mainstream music. He has one the best shots out of any battle rapper now though.
Powerful, really impressive.
this is dope... better than all battler rappers trash music
Didn't see this already posted. My bad.
