I was flipping through the channels, and saw a Tupac video, but it was just a clip on this show "And You Don't Stop: 30 Years of Hip-Hop". It's on VH1 right now. It's a marathon of the 6 episodes or something. The one right now is about East Coast rap around the early 90s (ie Wu Tang, Nas, Biggie). Check it out, its pretty good.

it's dope, i recorded the episodes when it first aired a few months ago...

The first two episodes were the best, talking about hip hop in the 70's and early 80's. The last episode or two were pretty bad, and they shouldn't have made 1/5 of the entire series about Pac and Biggie. They mention Jay-Z in the last 15 minutes of one episode, but not a mention of Nas in any of the episodes.

i guess squeezing hip hop history into 5 hours is a challenge in itself, but i still think it could have been done better...

They had Nas for a bit in one, and they had interviewed him. But yeah, Tupac and Biggie were the main focus of the two episodes that I've seen so far.
