using a mobilepre usb m-audio on one of those lil hp notebooks thru cool edit ???

    i so far have only been able to get the headphones to work,..but it wants to use my webcam mic as the mic so i disabled that and it still wont pick up my condenser...cool edit 2.1



    is the computer just too small ?

    i think those laptops are like an iphone.. i went to purchase one, and the guy told me you can't use a recording program, or edit photos/videos.. i think you can only surf the web and a few other useless things.. it's called a "netbook", right? if so, return it immediately.

    I'm recording all my tracks on this 10" mini laptop using M-audio Fasttrack usb interface with my condenser through cepro works for me I was surprised what these little things can handle

    just make sure you've set your usb device as default for record through control panel/audio devices-audio tab then you might want to restart although you shouldn't have to..
