US army now made it possible for women to go into combat..

    ...up until now they've only been support, so this in turn finally evens out the playing field.

    Like to know what you thought about it, do you find it to be a good or a bad idea, or feel indifferent towards it?

    Although I'm interested to see how women will act in combat and if it'll be a distraction for men that could potentially result in unnecessary casulties.

    I guess what concerns me is that women and men have to do different physical tests to even get into the military. I have no idea what it's like to be in the military or especially in combat but shouldn't they even up the physical tests if they're gonna do all the same jobs? We're talking about life and death here in some cases.

    I hear the same thing happens in tests to be a fireman some places here in the US.

    Stamping "equality" on everything just to say you did it shouldn't always be the number one concern.
