you know the ones in the bargain bin, you never hear about & then buy because its super cheap & worth a try..

I bought this last week, mainly because it was dirt cheap (£6-£8 not sure) & its really good.

lords of shadow was great to me. i was excited for it and picked it up on the first day, so i guess it wasn't under the radar for me. it got a lot of flak for being less like castlevania and more like modern third person action games (god of war, dante's inferno, etc) but castlevania and 3D have never really gotten along very well. that being said, i really did enjoy this game, and i'm stoked for lords of shadow 2, but it won't be out for a while. i believe konami is waiting for a 3rd party developer to release lords of shadow's official sequel, a 3ds game called mirrored fate or something, before they fast-track the production.

but yeah, i loved the shit out of that game. my stance on it is that it's still a great game even though it's vastly departed from the source material (like resident evil 5 & 6).

one of the few great non-Wii modern JRPGs. the voice acting is even in "less-than-terrible" tier.

word @ condemned and especially condemned 2, best horror games this Gen IMO. They got labeled as "bum fights' but man those games got the atmosphere than current horror games lack

haha yeah man its a creepy ass game, last game that i thought was actually scary before that was the PC version of FEAR

im real hyped for farcry3 tho man when does it come out again? shit, Farcry2 i never heard anything but bad stuff about that game but shit it was awesome i thought, it had real nice graphics and cool effects and shit, i dont know why but i was impressed at how even the vegetation was interactive, you could fucking chop down bushes with a machine gun, and they moved as you and others went through them like in real life... good shit.
