jimenez has movement on his strasburg just blows it by them . who has the better fastball??????????
Strasburg heater has tail to it as well....
Not to mention...99 to triple digit heat mixed with a 90(!) mph change that the bottom falls out of is the nastiest combo in the league...throw in that curveball and it's not even fair.
strasburg is the best pitcher in the league
Whoever has the most movement, that's what it's all about.
If your fastball don't move it's gonna get rocked.
Strasburg needs to slow down his change, but keep the movement.
fuck that....90 mph and 99 mph are a world apart....and his FB trails right...his changeup dies....
It's fucking beautiful...
90 mph and yet shits out it's bottom....dood......ugh.......I wish we had the '09 pick.....
The better fastball doesn't really matter, to me it's about even. It's all about the pitches you throw before and after that is going to determine the total effectiveness of that pitch. Granted Strasburg could probably throw 100 fastballs a game and still render the same power pitching numbers, Jimenez's fastball is just so accurate and does the job he needs it to to do. Not to mention he's up around 95-97 Mph with his . Put that all together, a high 90's FB with sharp accuracy and it's just beautiful. On the other side of the discussion everyone wants to see a consistent plus 100 Mph pitch through 7 or 8 innings, it's incredible. Yet It's to early in Strasburg's season to really even compare him to the body of work Jimenez has displayed. Nor really compare pitches just yet.
strasburg > jiminez
the kid only pitches like 6 innings a game and still averages 10 K's a start
so then lincecum = strasburg?
strasburg > lincecum
lincecum > jimenez
85 would be more effective. Then bam 97mph fastball.
lincecum meets the same criteria you set for strasburg. he consistently leads the league in K's

Gallardo is up by 2 on Timmy, after pitching today. Timmy will be going sunday, and will pass him up again, then be back in the lead. so yeah, i guess for now you can say not anymore
check out the K's per 9
he's had 3 or 4 starts. jesus christ. wait until he does it for a full season.
it's going to happen.
tac is officially on the hater bandwagon.
lol i have no hate for him. i hope he does well (not as good as timmy), but im not gonna blow my load over him until he proves he's going to be consistent.
