It's still kinda misleading to label Min as the moon god when another god is the primary moon god, and Min only took on the moon sometimes as an auxiliary role.

to say he wasn't a moon god at all was also a bit inaccurate.

hopefully that clears it up on both sides.

    Min was a Moon God

I dont think Egypt Travel Guide - Tour Egypt
would have their guides for people who visit the Pyramids teach Min was a Moon God if he wasnt

Unless - your saying they are wrong also?

his moon role was auxiliary in any case, fertility was his primary attribute. which is what the sources agree on. some don't even mention Min's moon role.

So now he is 'Sometimes' a Moon God

Yet The Egyptian Calender - the last day of the lunar month was consecrated to the deity, and the day was known as "The Exit of Min".

research the sources you were given
    and show and prove

I said - Min was the Moon God - 100% Correct

Min was the Fertility God, with an auxiliary role for the moon. Khonsu was the moon god proper.

I did check the sources, and most moon-god references were Khonsu and early Thoth. the Min association was barely noted.

    you're going after details.

    Who here is Lying?

Why is the Last Day of the Months in the Egyptian Lunar Calendar called the 'Exit of Min'
isnt Hours - the 12 steps of Horus - the Sun
and isnt Minutes (Min-utes) - MIN - the Moon?

    so again -

I already addressed this. you're going after a minor inaccuracy in a long post, which I've clarified since then.

    minute is from latin.
    hour is from latin/greek.

No - you didn't address that you lied when you said - Min is not a Moon God
Min is clearly a Moon God
now to avoid your exposure of lacking of knowledge - you wanna change subjects

but yes - Minutes have to do with Min
Minute means - the first small part of something
this is the Moon God, the smaller luminary to the Sun

and Hours - is Horus (switch the R around)

    nope & nope.

you're hung up on a detail. Min's primary role was Fertility, not the Moon. Khonsu had the primary Moon role.

Min did seem to have a minor/auxiliary moon role, which I should've mentioned. It was an inaccuracy. But you calling him a Moon God was also inaccurate, because you were ignoring his primary role.

not sure why you're making such an argument out of everything.

not many reliable sources on the "exit of min".

either way, that doesn't change the fact that Khonsu was much more associated and more significant to the moon.

    I see,
1st Thoth and Min are not Moon Gods
    Now,
Thoth and Min are sometimes Moon Gods

    Exit of Min, research that

but we all know once you do......

Exit of Min, is sometimes what its called

    LOL
You been back-peddling this whole thread

the exit of min doesn't change the point I made.

I've been correcting inaccuracies throughout this thread, which you've had far more of. As I read more info, I clarified. I never claimed to be an expert on Egyptian Mythology, which is what you've been pursuing relentlessly, ignoring all else.

by the way, I didn't say Thoth WASN'T a moon god, rather that he wasn't particularly associated with the moon. as it turns out, he was about the moon early on, but branched out later. I corrected that.

    lets talk inaccuracies

Thoth is a sometimes Moon God - according to you also right?

LOL - cant get it right can you?

Ok, well i posted this below

Thoth is not a sometimes moon god. he evolved from that role and became much larger.

Min had an auxiliary moon role.

there is a difference between a lie, vs. an error that I clarified later. my point was that fertility was his primary attribute, rather than the moon.

    alotta clarifying from you
Notice not one of my statements need clarification - wonder why?

    Min was the Moon God

you challenged that as well as Thoth being a Moon God

Thoth gives us words like 'thoughts'
Min gives us words like 'Mind'

mind and thoughts are relative -
because Thoth and Min are Moon Gods

Study what Planet the 'Fertility' Gods are associated with
what heavenly body usually 'always' represent them

do that - before you have to clarify and re-clarify everything you say
because it looks like you really have no knowledge of what your saying

    just a heads up

Min was mainly the Fertility god.

you don't clarify because you ignore all the points where you're completely wrong, and latch onto whatever footholds there are - in this case, a few egyptian deities.

I already refuted the fake thoughts/mind etymology, but you don't acknowledge that.

Once again, I didn't claim expertise on this, and I was reviewing info on this while posting. I wasn't looking to argue or 1-up you, although you're relentlessly set on that.

it's been interesting, even though you were far more polemic than necessary.

I was working on the computer anyway, which is the only reason I kept going.
