comedies have historically been overlooked by the academy for the most part, but robert downey jr. deserves some consideration for a nomination

hopefully he cops a golden globe at least

mad funny and a brilliant turn on a transformational level

"Same thing happened to me when I played Neil Armstrong in Moonshot. They found me in an alley in Burbank trying to re-enter the earth's atmosphere in an old refrigerator box."

"Man, I don't drop character 'till I done the DVD commentary."

"I don't read the script. The script reads me... fuck the script, man! Spit that shit!"

"You mo' shredded than a Julienne salad, man... on some Rambo II shit. What's the secret? You got any tips? I'm trynna come up myself."

    [funny], quotable after quotable

and, word @ tom cruise holdin' it down. nick nolte was a trip too.

the movie as a whole was hit and miss though. kinda fell apart towards the end...
