I don't think they limit the writer's choice of approach anymore than an image or title though .. a picture of a car = a piece relating to a car .. I think it does require the writer to get creative with a scenario (especially on the 'twist') ..

the shrooms for example .. "police knock the door to tell you that" .. doesn't mean the door gets answered .. maybe the tiwst is they got the wrong house .. maybe they see 'you're' high and raid the house .. maybe you run a brothel .. maybe take an emotional approach to hearing that sort of news .. maybe 'he' knows who did it and goes for revenge .. could be funny .. could be sad ..

I really don't think doors are closed with scenarios ..

I thought the feedback was pretty good considering it was a matchup of two topicals, which don't really stay above water here very often.

I had a verse about three people named Maggie, Simon, and Johnny all looking for a way to go behind the back of their leader so they could have his throne, and the last 16 was going to be the leader's point of view and the reader would find out that Maggie=Mary Magdelene, Simon=Peter, and Johnny=John the Baptist, and that his entire flock was wolves in sheep's clothing so he allowed himself to be crucified.

After DAD did the wolf in sheep's clothing idea and you did a Christianity piece I decided to scrap it, plus it wasn't turning out the way I wanted it too. A political or religious sheep idea was something I thought would be overdone, but I have to say taking the sheep pic on a "lambs to the slaughter" route was something I didn't expect anyone to think of, so well done in my opinion.

Hahaha, I forgot about nomstradamus. I like that one too. Your J o o k name has a bad rap here though, may have to stick to that one in Hookups.

    scenarios:

you've been a legend for years. but... your time has come. you've only got one song left to perform at your last show ever, & it's in front of 30,000+ people. how's the rap go?

you just found out your best friend is imaginary.

it's the day before you're going to be executed to death via the electric chair. how do you spend it? what's on your mind? etc.

you are jesus, while he carries the cross, only to soon be crucified at golgatha.

you're an assassin, & just got offered 100 billion dollars to kill the person you love more than anything.

those all kinda suck, but if i gave some thought, i could get you some good ones. i'll be thru in a bit.
