    it's all about coming from left field when people expect a line drive...

    i've seen hot beats get trashed becuase of a wack artist, then on the other side of the spectrum, seen a wack beat get ripped to the point where the beat sounds hot....

    it's really all about finding your own balance with what u can get away with and can't....the more experience you get you should know when and where to add/pull back on a beat....the last thing you wanna do is drown it out becuase you think it'll make it sound hot...but yea.

    Lol turl, this was suppose to be just a discussion thread, but I guess there's no such thing online. As for the topic I agree with the general view that it's a feel that just comes from experience and skill. I honestly find myself making an instrumental to whatever my emotion state is that day. Music is words that can't be expressed in words is how I look at it, and the artist fills in the gap I left out.
