But they can't find enough qualified Americans to fill them.
This makes me wonder if we can really get the U.S unemployment numbers down without filling these jobs? Not having enough skilled Americans for these jobs may mean that unemployment numbers may stay higher than they need to be going into the future.
when college started costing 10k+ per year.. that's when 95% of american's realized they couldnt afford college.
That is simply not true. Also, these jobs in the video aren't for people who get degrees at a traditional university they are more like the type of person who goes to a vocational school.

Another thing I got from that video was how U.S manufacturing has changed.
I often hear people talking about how America needs to get back into manufacturing. But this video shows how manufacturing is changing and how it isn't what it was in the past. Manufacturing can increase in the U.S but it will have to be manufacturing that is more high tech. The question is how do we adapt the U.S work force to meet these new more high tech manufacturing jobs? Once we get that figured out then we will see U.S manufacturing expand. Germany has done a good job of updating its manufacturing workforce.
maybe thats why Germany has the most successful economy in the EU right now. Also, I heard that 52% of Americans unemployed are college educated- statistic came from a wall street journal podcast I listened to 6/4/12
