There are big tank versions for families that can last for a year, according to him. He shows it in that presentation. As for the source of water, you would have to expand your ideas for sources of water, because the state of that water would no longer be an issue.

how much do the tanks cost?how many would you need where there is no real water source?and how much would it cost to transport them worldwide?

i don't disagree tht it COULD be done, just the fact tht for 20 bill it is nigh on impossible to conduct a project tht large and far reaching without going drastically over budget imo.

gd thread though its got me thinkin about shit i have no clue about or desire to learn about lol.

Remember when Jay Z went to Africa to provide that village with clean drinking water and all the kids were upset he didn't bring them PS3's and iphones instead.

Well even if it turns out being 100% costlier than expected at $40 Billion. I think theres no question that its worth it

Why dont you start a charity, raise 20billion and solve the worlds water problems??

    lmao

    Oh to be young again......

Transporting water to drought stricken places would cost way more than 20billion....

Having enough water for irrigation couldnt be achieved by these 'bottles' therefore water would consistently have to be 'pumped' in, hence costing a lot of money (how much do we pay in Cali to have water pumped in from Nevada or Arizona??)....

    Its not cheap....

If the technology existed and was cost effective they would have pumping stations all up the west coast saving us from the so called 'water-shortage'.....

I'm not advocating a revolution Sifu, just discussing...

Also, this technology is for drinking water. Not water Cali pumps from Nevada so people can take 20 minute showers in clean water, and leave the faucet running while they brush their teeth.

A big tank implementing the same exact technology for drinking water can last at least a year for one family.

lol im not seein it either

But hypothetically that amount of money would be enough to purchase the technology for everyone. I mean I dont fuckin know, I didnt do the math, I'm just relaying what the inventor said.

Yea the technology wouldn't work for desert areas unless somehow you can find water. But most humans live next to a water source. Most deserts are not filled with human population.

Thats not a bad idea. The tanks the inventor presented supposedly held enough water for years. One agonizing trip every year or so for clean water doesn't sound bad. Better then looking for clean water every single day.

    Precisely

    Huh?

    Supposedly

    Yes.....yes sifu

    lol....

    Oh wait....I get it now.

Don't worry bro, I'm not asking you to donate billions, this is just discussion of a fairly new technology with a shock factor topic that happens to be very relevant to the tech.
