I started reading from the beginning lmao

Yo Rez, space is infinite bro. I thought you believed in exponential growth, that's what happens with space. Unlimited and unending baby boii.

So it's infinite and yet expands at a very fast rate? What about the big bang?

I think the infinite space theory has been brushed away by most modern astronomers

Big Bang specifically has to do with the age of the universe. As for the physical space, it wasn't infinite to begin with. But now what the modern astronomers understand is that the exponential expansion pretty has practically made it infinite. Yeah, there is likely an edge to the universe, but the so called dark energy is helping extend the gap between galaxies so fast that gravity can't do much about it. If we existed like a 100 or 1000 years after the big bang, we probably could have checked out the edge of the universe, but there wasn't much dark energy back then (more gravity than anything). But now, even if we were on the galaxy that's closest to the edge of the universe, it would still probably be hard for us to see the edge because where ever there's empty space, that space is accelerating in terms of expansion. It's unfortunate but the longer we take to make attempts to go to other galaxies, the further we'll have to travel to get there. How fast our surrounding galaxies are moving away from us? For every 3.26 million years of distance they are from us, they're going away at 71 km/sec. So the edge of our universe is moving away from us WAYYYYY faster than our closest galaxy. And it will extend forever, so it is pretty much infinite, unless a ridiculously crazy amount of stars and galaxies form so that gravity rules over dark energy and stops the expansion, or even contract the universe.

Right, so you agree it is finite. Just because our space exploration abilities are primitive at best, it does not make it less or more finite.
