The way he added his own percussion by tapping on the violin reminded me of one of my favorite guitarists Andy McKee.

    music is awesome

and the violin/fiddle is one of the greatest instruments in the world

this reminds me of something they just did in NY... They had one of the worlds greatest violinist go to the NY subway and busk for 45 mins, he played straight for 45 mins playing selected Bach music. Only 6 people stopped to listen, and they basically only listened for long enough to drop a few quarters...

think of how busy the NY subway is, and think of how many people missed probably the most beautiful thing theyd hear all year.

goes to show ya were all way too busy with ourselves.

Honestly I bought the dude's album because of the video. There were a few other songs that were worth it. It's just what I need before/after a long day of work.

I'll usually start my morning with anything in the sphere of classical music, normally with the Gladiator waltz (ost from the movie), to fully wake up and start functioning properly...:funny:

I'll get the guy's cd as well...ty for the heads up!

That's a tragedy, but it also shows how much lack of respect people have for good music..

Over here, we have some of the most talented musicians that spend their days playing on the streets or in squares since they can't get a job doing what they've studied for...=(
