na all those teams would work these cavs. Those nets wouldve beat them in 5. Lebron's great but supporting cast is less than ass.

Even before this series its not as if Lebron has been absolutely dominating. They had the easiest road to the finals thats why they looked good. Kenyon Rj and Kidd would make the cavs look silly.

well he hasn't been dominating cuz he hasn't had to. He needs to now but he can't when 3 spurs are on him soon as he touch the ball. The cavs would destroy that nets team tho and quite easily. our defense would shut them down

dis man speaks the truth. lebron has had an easy road to the finals. shit he had to average just 25 points per game against Washington, New Jersey and Detroit. He had just one great game against em. dat 48 point game but other than dat, he hasnt been dominating at all compared to Michael Jordan or even Tim Duncan for that matter. and in order for cleveland to pull off an upset, lebron needs to have 4 classic, history, best player of all time type games but he cant do dat. he's inconsistent

The big men gotta step up. Gibson is pullin his weight with his 15-20 a game. Gooden, Varajeo, and Ilgauskas gotta step it up.

Even the knicks (whose best player was injured) didn't play this bad.. and actually won a game!

    Lmfao.

    Lets be serious.

    Head Coach:Jeff Van Gundy
Patrick Ewing | Latrell Sprewell | Allan Houston | Larry Johnson | Kurt Thomas | Charlie Ward | Marcus Camby | Chris Childs | Chris Dudley | Ben Davis | Herb Williams | Rick Brunson | David Wingate |

They were an 8 seed. All of those guys were washed up, injury prone, old.

Plus THESE Spurs are a lot better than THOSE Spurs.

    Head Coach:Gregg Popovich
Tim Duncan | David Robinson | Sean Elliott | Mario Elie | Avery Johnson | Jaren Jackson | Malik Rose | Antonio Daniels | Steve Kerr | Jerome Kersey | Will Perdue | Gerard King | Andrew Gaze | Brandon Williams |

I don't see Tony Parker (this years Finals MVP thus far) Manu Ginobli, Micheal Finley or Robert Horry there. Not to mention Duncan was in his second season.

The Spurs are alot more battle tested and better now.

And if you're saying "those Knicks didn't play as bad as the Cavs are", you might want to recheck some history or dig into your memory bank.

    Game 1: Spurs 89, Knicks 77 (+12)
    Game 2: Spurs 80, Knicks 67 (+13)

    Game 1: Spurs 85, Cavs 76 (+9)
    Game 2: Spurs 103, Cavs 92 (+11)

That's easily the worst final team ever in the history of a great league.

The Cavs would easily dismantle those Nets or Sixers as well, but you kids don't really understand much about matchups it seems.

lol @ posting the final scores. They were down by fucking 30 and the spurs started playing like the fucking warriors, chucking 3's and shit.

Thats almost as deceiving as LeBron numbers in the series, scoring to little to late in the final moments. Gibson is playing better than LeBron.

gotta agree with everything Purple Haze just said, G-Rob. those numbers you posted WERE very misleading.

and Gibson has been playing better than Lebron. Mike Brown HAS to give that kid Gibson more minutes. he should be starting.

That knick team had no business in the finals thats my point. Ewing didnt even play! But neither do these cavs. They stink it wouldnt even be competitve series with the way kidd and company would've ran over them. And that sixer team wouldve dominated on both sides of the ball.

    The Cavs suck.

And those spurs were much better on defense than these spurs. Lol @ they spurs being more battle tested look at those veterans. Elie, Avery, Elliot, Kerr, D Rob.

Comeon man you cant be serious

On Paper, the Knicks squad doesn't look terrible as y'all make em sound....they were just past their prime and banged up, but some of them were great and still had that experience. Allan Houston was a top 5 or 8 SG in the league and was fresh in his prime, Latrell was in his prime, Camby was entering his (even though he's never really had a prime), Kurt Thomas, Childs, and Ward were as good as they ever would be...and Ewing and Grand ma maaah were a few years past their prime but still had the experience needed. If anything, I'd say they were a great video game team, just like the 2000-2001 Blazers and 2002-2003 Queens....oh, and now, the 2005-2007 Suns.

It's not so much the final numbers, it's the point that the Knicks lost both games and it wasn't close.

I didn't understand the comparison of the two teams when the game that the Knicks won wasn't game 1 or 2.

The final score of game 2 is misleading but the Cavs never recovered after they lost LeBron to foul trouble in the first.

    Yes I can be serious.

How many NBA Finals had Duncan been to and won at that time?

    Oh yeah ZERO.

Some of those guys had been to Finals as roleplayers. D-Rob was past his prime. Parker and Manu are all stars.

When I said you kids don't understand matchups, I wasn't kidding.

Who on New Jersey's frontline would stop our bigs? K-Mart all by his lonesome? [funny]

That's why they got ran over by a Shaq diesal truck driving at 400 mph.

The Cavs BELONG in the finals because they are the best team in the eastern conference. But I've been tellin you niggas that since the offseason when ya'll were talking about the Bulls and Pistons n' shit.

In case you might not have been aware, the current NBA finals format pits the best team from each conference against each other.
