They're telling me that Eminem post MMLP, has been better, more consistent, than Jay-Z and Nas

Hard to argue against Jay, he's prolly the most consistent rapper ever. But Jay do be gettin some passes for merely putting out average albums with a few standout singles. I stopped following Nas after HHID/Untitled, i dunno why, he just fell of the radar and nothing he put out came across my attention.

The real debate here is how you include the Eminem Show, 8 mile era, and Recovery as shitty music.

don't really fuck with post Black Album Jay. Kingdom Come, BP3 & MCHG are ehh to me. But even then, all those albums have a couple good tracks and Jay still sounds good.

Em is flat out garbage. Embarrassing lyrics/beats/concepts. He's been horrible for much longer than he was ever good at this point. Straight cringeworthy.

    Jay has been more consistent

Nas...fuck no, he's in the same boat as Em is.

    Eminem Show was raw
    Stillmatic was raw

after both them albums, nas and em fell hard.

i agree w/ this. eminem had the highlight verse on bout half the songs on devil's night.

he had some classic ass songs on the 8 mile soundtrack too and he had some dope ass verses on dr. dre's 2001 album, obie's debut album, 50's debut album, banks debut album.. the list goes on.

i still feel jay and nas from like.. 2005 and beyond, began shittin on eminem music-wise. relapse is the last eminem album that actually has front to back replay value imo. recovery was cool for what it was but we all know what em's old fans expect from him.
