    and there lies the problem.

may not seem like a problem to you, but it does to me.

just as you see the prophethood going to one man as a problem, and i don't.

does that ultimately create yet another dominance hierarchy?

does the inability to concede that more truths might exist create a divide between group x and group y (arbitrary groups)

    can they work together

i see what you're getting at now.

fair point, but not all division cause a dominance hierarchy.

they'll live life thinking they are right, just as it happens now.

who knows who is wrong, and who isn't.

Can somebody that believes in Muhammad and follows him tell me what he prophesied ? I admit I want to know. But be respectful, I'm not out to argue.

The same shit as the other mentally ill "prophets" --Did you know that most of what was "prophesied" had already occurred or was occurring during their lifetime?

That's like me saying that the United States would go to war with Iraq (no shit) - Or that we would be the dominant power.

They keep on bringing up the conquering of Mecca, or Persia - well check the dates when the invasions happened and then check the #'s force vs force.

It doesn't take a genius to figure out who was going to win.

i'll disregard the mentally ill comment, and proceed.

i myself have questioned a sheikh about this question, and actually said the same thing (less agressively), that most of the prophecies were about conquests and conquests can be predicted, rather than prophecised. so i'm in the same shoes as you on that.

you can split up the prophecies of muhammad into the prophecies mentioned in the qur'an, and those that were hadith (his sayings).

his own prophecies include him predicting faitmah would join him first after his death. fatimah was his daughter, and was the first one to pass away after the death of the prophet.

a substantial amount of the prophet's prophecies involved the last days.

i have copied and pasted the list with small interpretation.

if you ask what the miracles and the prophecies that muhammad brought forth?

the miracle is the qur'an, and he was the seal of the prophethood.
