... and i mean nobody, as in tighter online security.

so when you reach 16, or hit puberty, you get a license with a keypass on it.

without this keypass, you cannot view any sites like pornhub, spankwire, xvideos, xhamsters, etc.

because if we leave it as is, and a little kid stumbles upon one of the sites, then it's just game over already.

Nah, good to let them desensitize so they don't become a freak addict as soon as they hit age. Like those people who experiment with drugs late in life and like it too much.

Who cares if kids see them? What is the point of using arbitrary ages for this stuff? If YOU don't want YOUR kids looking at that on your home computer you should be more accountable and set up strict settings for the content you want to restrict.

Sounds like half-assed lazy parenting to me. All you're doing is making everyone else meet your dubious moral standards for society while you sit back and complain about how someone else should be restricting their access.

Definitely not lazy. And the complaints aren't unreasonable. There are times when you need to step in because others are being neglectful. Which affects your child.

A healthy understanding, at a young age, of sex is good, beastiality should probably be censored at least until sixteen.

For the parents? As long as we're being sarcastic ad absurdum, sure why not.

It is a restriction of free speech because you want to force your own idea of morals on everyone else instead of taking accountability for what goes on under your roof. You have the option to restrict it within your home (from administrator settings), yet you find it rational to make everyone else fit into your idea of a perfect environment. That's pure laziness.

the problem with restrictions like this is that there's too much of a slippery slope towards erosion of privacy and liberty.

it should be up to the parents to raise a child, not a nanny-state.

I find that lazy, it's passing the buck, and it's segregating. I favour community perspective, nanny state sounds awful. Plus, even though something is restricted to those under an age, the parent is still free to unlock it for them, rather than the opposite of having the parent block it. Like drinking, it's restricted to those under drinking age, but the parent can go to he store and buy it for their kid.

i say let the little shits watch porn, but only the really, really weird shit. like bondage, watersports, food porn, fat people, etc. teenage pregnancies would plummet, because kids would be absolutely terrified of sex.

i care if kids see them, why corrupt an innocent mind with that shit.

i don't have kids, but i remember when i was 6 i saw a page ripped out of a porn magazine.

i still remember that massive schlong that bitch had in her mouth, for years i thought she was eating a chicken leg piece.

    fair point.

    a sticky slope.

There should be a law to make parents take care of and give attention to their children. Safeguard and adultlock computers in the home by taking responsibility, keep the state out of any governance that you can do yourself, why limit human liberty? You can't shelter your child from reality, when they eventually get exposed make sure you have an open dialogue with your kids so they'll come to you and you will be able to inform and guide them to a healthy life.

Their legal guardians in that case. Take responsibility for eachother, keep the state out of as much as possible. Every legislation is a step towards fascism. That's why "the land of the free" is a myth.
