I'm sleepy. I think I might get my ass to bed finally. I've had a LONG ass day. Birthday Party's with a bunch of kids is ALWAYS exhausting lol.

However I had a great day. How about you TP? Did you have a great day? Oh and you too Simply Slick, was it a great day?)

    Nope, it wasn't great.

It wasn't a "bad" day, no day really is... it was just less eventful than some other days.

The most worthwhile/exciting thing I did today was watch clips of Bob Sapp on youtube... yippeeee!!

Really? I've never tried one before. Although I've been curious about veggie burgers and what they taste like? Should maybe try one one day.

anywho, what are some good classic movies?
i'm making a list for our "movie marathon" (yeah, we're just that cool..), but it's hard to narrow it down.. especiall since i haven't seen half of these movies, but want to.

    Classic ones?

ask Brahman. I'm not a big movie guy.

    I enjoyed

    The odd couple (1968)
    Do the right thing (1988)
    Roots
Crash (2005)-- but I'm sure you've seen that already.
I watched a pretty nice Italian movie the other day, I'm sure you won't be able to rent it.. but if I remember the name of it I'll let you know.

    Why have a movie marathon?

Just watch Titanic once... and any lord of the rings movie afterwards, that should take up a good 7 hours. lol

i've only seen the ending of crash.
it looks really interesting, though... but i'll have to see the full thing to understand it.

the whole movie marathon on started because my boyfriend has never seen drop dead fred.. which is one of mine and my friend's favourite movies. soo.. we decided to have a movie marathon.. with all those good movies.

    so far.. we have:
    drop dead fred
    forrest gump
    the sound of music
    charlie and the chocolate factory
    the wizard of oz
    dirty dancing
    grease
    titanic
    star wars
    e.t
    back to the future
    the godfather
    the breakfast club
    gone with the wind

you know what.. this list is already too long, and i still have a shitload of movies.
aaand, there's a ton of long movies on that list, too.
k.. maybe we'll have to have a couple of movie marathons.
    haha.. we're such nerds.

You need to get some more obscure movies in there... or newer ones.

Dirty Dancing is a waste... I'm sure there are better movies you could put in there

    City of God

and watch all of Crash... and watch it at least twice to understand the interconnectedness.

The original starwars is boring to me, I think it was just somewhat innovative for its time, but if you're watching it in a contemporary context--- it's boring.

Forrest Gump is a true classic, I love that movie.

You really should watch " Do the right thing"... it's not a classic by most standards, but I love it.

Gone with the wind and the godfather I've never seen.. nor have I seen " the sound of music"

I don't know how much a boy would really enjoy watching all of those movies in such a short time-frame, I'm not sure I would.

    nope, no new movies.
    all old ones.

it'll be an all day/all night thing.. it'll be craaazyyy! hahah.
never watched so much movies in my life.
i can barely sit through one..
    short attention span, i guess.
but it's ok if i talk through it.. which i always do, so it'll be ok.
we'll probably miss most of the movies, because we'll basically be talking all through them/ making fun of them. or we'll just bail on the whole idea.. but no, we can't!

    heh.
our boyfriends are going to die.. cuz well, they're guys.. so they won't like half of the movies we're making them watch.
but too bad for them. if they ever plan on getting laid, they'll have to suffer through this. ;)

(and i'll have to watch crash on my own. i can't concentrate on movies when i'm with other people.. cuz then i just have to talk. well, it's not me talking that annoys me.. cuz i talk at the right parts. it just annoys the hell out of me when other people talk. hahah.)
oh, and the sound of music is reallyyyy cheesy. hahaha. godfather and gone with the wind- never seen either.

lol "if they ever plan on getting laid" wielding the pussy like a weapon already, damn.

I think you're going to bail on the whole idea, because no one can watch that many old movies straight-through.... the movies will become secondary. Either that or whoever you're planning to watch these movies with will get so bored/frustrated that they won't put up w/ it anymore.

"short attention span"... yea, I know.. lol.. reading your posts on here, it's not hard to come to the conclusion that your mind tends to woooooooooonder a little bit.....
