No time soon. Maybe that girl who scored like 113pts in a game could do it [dunno]

But I'm pretty sure Cheryl Miller Or Sheryl Swoops could have, if the league was around back when they was in highschool.

Damn, that mag has a list of most of the bright young stars from Amare, Lebron, Mello status to Telfair, Deng.

Many of the others show glimpses of promise like Swift, Outlaw, Jefferson, Mcants, May, Felton, Reddick.

I was discussing this with my boy sometime back...

Right now there is a fantastic mix of Veteran Superstars in their prime, ie Duncan, Kobe, T-Mac, Garnett, Carter, Nash, Iverson etc..

A few that are fading, like Shaq, Webber and Kidd..

And plenty of players from 25-21 who have 'arrived' ala, Yao, Parker, Arenas, Amare, Lebron, Mello, Wade, Bosh...

    The renaissance is on.

the nba is in very good hands

however, i can't help but mourn the fact that we're not getting to fully enjoy tracy mcgrady at his best

imagine the athletic explosion of the 2000-03 orlando magic t-mac combined with the enlightenment and hard-earned wisdom of the 2004-05 houston rocket t-mac under the guidance of jeff van gundy and alongside the emerging yao ming... my goodness, what a player to behold!

i don't see how anyone cannot look at his setbacks right now as at least somewhat of a disappointment for the league and call themselves a true fan of the game

never hurts to have that one extra supreme player and team shaking it up in the foray

the rockets were 22-10 this year with t-mac (ailing at certain points) and yao on the floor together

the 2000-03/2004-05 hybrid t-mac and 2005-06 yao??? shit, we're looking at a 70% winning rate (57+ wins). easy!

    what a tragedy

I agree with the NBA is fine statement.

That's why I hate when people bitch about it being one-man teams, and lack of fundamentals and the other usual complaints..

Some of the young stars like Carmelo, Wade and LeBron are going to be exciting (team) players for the next decade at least.

I still have the August 2003 edition, issue 71, with LeBron James on the cover with a Jordanesque allstar jersey on. Dope article on James. The hype was right.

The magazine already looks like I wiped it in ass a couple times so Im not even worried about how much it will be worth down the road.
