I'm assuming we won't know the results until monday or tuesday. In any case, there are very few students who, even at my age, are aware of all the issues that go into choosing the appropriate leader for this country.... like you, most people don't follow politics.

I watched the electoral debates... but I just wanted to see which one of them seemed more articulate/ intelligent... I wasn't paying much attention to the issues being discussed. It's been a liberal government since I can remember being alive... so if I were to vote anything... I'd vote liberal, almost solely on the basis of familiarity.

You know, IMO it seems like alot of work watching the debates and just keeping up in general to cast a vote.... And that 1 vote doesnt really count either.. I always said that if an election ever decided by 1 vote I would vote... But I think the next federal election I will vote no matter what. I think tommorow's election day, it's a little to late for me now..

It's never too late. I don't know a heck of a lot. But what I do know is I want Canada to remain the same. I don't want a change. I'm not interested in becoming anything like America. Which from my understand is what Stephen Harper has in mind. He's a mini Bush IMO

I proudly voted Liberal today. I decided to vote the last election. It was my first time. Reason for this is it's my children's future. They depend on it, as does my future. I decided that my vote DOES count. It's very important. Maybe even just check a website and see who is more in favour of what you're looking for/interested in. But I would really suggest voting! It's important )

That it is. However it's SO close that Conservatives won't be able to do as MUCH damage as they wanted to. So that's good. Thank God for some brains in Canada ;o)
