niners traded brandon lloyd to washington for a 3rd rounder this year and a 4th next year....i guess they're gonna go hard after randle el, but even he isn't a true #1 wr...alex smith is gonna keep strugglin at this rate. plus julian peterson and andre carter could be gone.

    Bentley. nice.

Cleveland signs Joe Jurevicious to a 4 year deal worth about $10 million. They're also in talks with Lions' DE Kalimba Edwards who will most likely move to OLB if signed.

with the signing of Bentley, I wouldn't be surprised if the Browns tried to wrap up Jeff Faine and a pick in a deal for Javon Walker.

Redskins just signed Randle-EL, not sure what the terms are at the moment. That's a speedy little WR corps they got now in Washington; Moss, Lloyd and Randle-El. Who's gonna start at QB, Brunell or Campbell?

Rams making some nice signings too. They pick up La'Roi Glover, Will Witherspoon and Corey Chavous. Overhaulin that defense, now they need to add some corners.

    yep

PHOENIX (AP) -- Edgerrin James ran off to the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, agreeing to a four-year contract with one of the NFL's weakest teams.

James, who became a free agent after seven seasons with the Colts, knew there was little chance he would return to Indianapolis when the season ended in a loss to Pittsburgh in the AFC divisional round.

Last month, Colts president Bill Polian admitted he was taking a gamble by letting James hit the free-agent market. And now James is gone after setting team records for rushing attempts (2,188), yards (9,226) and touchdowns (64).

Polian could have kept James by using the franchise tag on him for the second straight year. Instead, Polian, decided against the move, which would have increased James' salary next season to more than $10 million. That made James, a four-time Pro Bowl choice, one of the most attractive free agents available when free agency opened Saturday.

Terms of the deal weren't immediately released.

It was clear James wanted a fresh start after several clashes with the Colts over the last few years. At the Super Bowl, he said he hoped to play for a team that wanted him.

The two-time NFL rushing champion helped Indianapolis make the playoffs six times in his seven seasons, missing the postseason in 2001 when James sat out the final 10 games after tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.

James has been one of the most productive running backs in the NFL after the Colts took him with the fourth overall pick in 1999. He has rushed for more than 1,000 yards in six of his eight NFL seasons, and ran for more than 1,500 yards in each of the last two.

haha.... Finally the colt's are done for.

Edge was the main weapon there. Who's going to sell the playaction now? Mungroe? lmao Ricky Williams?.. Who's even there?...

Peyton's about to figure out what getting sacked is like during the regular season too. Fantastic.

I just wish they would've let Wayne go too... :(

The bears actually offered him 6yrs 20 million, but he went for 4 years 30 million with washington. good thing the bears didn't sign him. that's way too much for a slot WR.
