how is it fair to compare a WR on a playoff team with possibly the best QB in the league with a WR on one of the worst teams in the league with Kerry Collins and now Vince Young at QB?

And Bush's receiving stats as a RB make up for his subpar rushing numbers.

    why not compare them??

i told the titans fans when they signed givens that they overpaid but none of them listened..

hell i think gabriel has more yrds an tds than branch who was also overpaid by seattle

while these teams are out there breaking bank on them, NE was able to get an equal wr in gabriel for a 5th rd pick.. oh an we dont have to resign him for a couple more yrs haha

l@ bush.. his receiving does not make up for it.. this guy was supposed to be god on the field an he has 3.3 avg.. people talk shit about HOu taking Williams, well bush has been like the 4th or 5th best back. not even the best rookie on the team lol

McNair is shittin on the Titans right now...
    McNair and Ravens 4-0
    Titans 0-4
the damn Raiders dont got the Titans on their schedule this year
that might be the only team Oakland could beat
    on second thought,probaly not....

    does it matter??

barring an injury there is no way givens will put up more yards.. hes played in 2x as many games an has less yrds/tds.. add the fact hes gonna be with a new qb and bam a recipe for disater

they went an overpaid foa a non playmaker @ wr

and bush has been proving my point about him since pre season.. he tore up the college ranks cus he was faster than everybody an was running through truck size holes.. he doesnt have that in the nfl and thus he looks average

    a willie parker with hands

    ummm.....yeah

Oh and you don't think it's a coincidence that the RB drafted to the better team/better situation is off to a better start. There's a reason the Saints drafted 2nd last year and the Patriots drafted 21st.

And same thing on the Givens/Gabriel point. One guy has Tom Brady throwing to him, the other has Vince Young in his first year. No shit Gabriel is going to have a better year that doesn't necessarily mean he's better than Givens. I personally don't think either one of them are anything to write home about just 2 okay WR's, big deal.

As a matter of fact ignore my last post and just answer this one question for me. A one word/name answer will work just fine.

Doug Gabriel is probably going to end the year with better numbers than Randy Moss. Who is the better WR, Gabriel or Moss?

    i got a better question

of these 3 choices tell me which is the best for NE

    overpay for david givens
    overpay for deion branch
trade a 5th rd pick for doug gabriel

pretty easy answer if u ask me

on top of gabriel being the most productive so far, we also got a 1st out of deion branch and dont have to worry bout gabriels contract for a couple more yrs

    another BB classic

not with walter at qb, dude looked like CRAP vs the BROWNS..with randy!! and a DECENT rb!!

least vince threw for 100+ yards :)

you're only shot is the niners, titans got the texans twice..they should win at least one

sucking having an AWFUL squad for a team, im having a hard time adjusting :(

pretty much got their ass handed by the Niners
damn did yall see that fumble that the 49ers ran back?
like none of Oakland that was on the field even cared,
    they were like fuck it,
cant believe they won any preseason games
i mean they looked like they might actually at least compete against teams come reg. season
    but i was dead wrong...

the Bears look like super bowl material right now....
but dont sleep on Philly or Carolina
its good to see Philly be competitive, i really like McNabb...he seems like a good guy

the Rams are 4-1,but their not for real,IMO....Theyve had a soft schedule so far...
how bad can it get for the Bucs and Dolphins?
both of their seasons have completely fell apart...
Culpepper is already benched,i dont agree with that though....hes a lot better option than Harrington
Bucs look like the Jets last year, they lose their starting QB,the whole team crashes
    Gradkowski had good numbers though,
but the way they lost the game to the Saints
    that was horrible return coverage
to win that game wouldve done alot for that team for believing in themselves,
they might as well start preparing for next year now...

bucs were in trouble before simms went down. and the schedule makers didn't do them any damn favors this year lol, i thought in the offseason that the saints were gonna be their only easy opponent and now even the saints are good!

but the monday night game is one of the weirdest games i've ever anticipated. i've never wanted to see a guy get MAULED by another team like i want to see matt leinart get mauled. i mean, if this game is not an absolute blowout in favor of the bears, i'll be disappointed. kinda weird considering i usually get bored if a monday night game isn't close. i can't be alone on this.

the Raiders defense is much improved as of late...
    4 int?
they had like 5 all of last year,
    offense still is horrible though
but 2 wins in a row...especially over pittsburgh...
defense at least looks like going in the right direction
