Drifting, i sail on the rough tide of an timid existence
Looking to the moon in the sky for direction and forgiveness
Remaining illusive to the world, admire a peer from a distance
Fighting against the hands of time watching sand in an hour glass
Thinking of greener pastures that await once this hours passed
Moving obediently to the winds direction can leave you underwhelmed
Feeling like you have no say in the outcome puts you in an unfourtunate realm
Designed to be a slave to a system that has ignored Mother Nature
Lost population drowns in jersey shore and washes up in Asia
Observing the tsunami approaching humanity what do I choose to become?
Realizing I cant control the moon in the sky, i hope to raise a beautiful son

and my journey, has now begun...
