The first in its existence, we have really set a great example for the future of the RSTL. Initially, I had accepted this job with the intentions of passing on my powers to a participant with more bit more time on their hands. Fortunately, I was able to juggle the responsibilities of being a moderator, writing a weekly magazine, being a married man, and working a fulltime job while being a fulltime student. In the end, my wife is now 16 weeks, I completed my courses with straight A's, and I have withstood the entire first season. As always, my time is limited this week. I have to register for classes, my wife has a doctor's appointment tomorrow, and I am still working fulltime. Not to mention that I have to write this magazine, update the archives, present the awards, and write a verse for the last championship match of the season. But of course, I continue to get the job done. With that said, this week was actually a good one despite the controversy and excessive amount of no shows. Well, technically this past week actually sucked with lopsided battles and championship with more trouble than it was worth. But still, there were a decent number of solidly written verses. At this time, I would like to extend a warm invitation to those who disagree with the way I write my magazines, or to those who may disagree with my views or the way I express my opinions, or simply to those whom may just want to help out and have a sincere concern for the future of this league. Please feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org . I am always open to suggestions and help from those who are truly interested.
