I don't know what they're trying to do with this dude, but I don't like it...
Dude is garbage he has no real skills always sounds this same on every track like a robot. From time to time takes he a few sec pause to take a hit from a oxygen tank you can hear him in some of his tracks he sounds out of breath
i think Rick Ross makes great music and his first album is pretty solid but i can't bring myself to purchase or listen to his shit.
He's nice, just not a nerd who focuses souly on techniques that YOU GUYS thinks makes a "great" rapper. So I can see why you guys don't like him.
i don't think that.
Rick Ross is getting a lot more attention than he deserves. It's bigger that him in my opinion. There's something going on behind the scene that we don't know of. There's no reason for MTV to be putting all three MMG members in the top 10.
And I could've sworn he went platinum already, but he never did. Even when Jeezy used to murder them he wasn't getting as much attention, and he went platinum back to back. There's definitely something political here.
Suddenly you got niggas calling him the next Big, cosigns by Dre and Nas, Pharell calling him "the realest nigga in the game"(?), the whole thing is fishy man...
he makes music people wanna hear. end of discussion.
you guys realize the artists y'all like are only discussed on forums like this?? there's a reason for that
Rick Ross is very repetitive in my opinion. He has hot beats but i'm just not a fan of his lyricism
Turn on your local hip-hop station right now and there's a 40% chance you'll hear Ricky's voice.
If you play something long enough, people are gonna think it's good. Ross used to be a joke, but now suddenly he's the realest? They fucking with your minds and y'all don't even realize it.
he's no more shoved on us than Drake. Drake is more talented, though.
they want us to idolize and perpetuate the crack generation's downward spiral even though the epidemic itself no longer exists. he's just a cartoon character impersonating art imitating life. a replication of phantom chains.
fuck what the industry wants. wu-tang is for the children.
rick rauss too big to fit down my throat, no fucking homo.
but really, i can't fucking stand the way this man raps, reminds me of a spastic fat joe.
atleast fat joe was bearable up to the time the big punisher passed away.
i might vibe to his tracks if i was drunk as fuck in a club, but even then.
this makes absolutely no sense... if he didnt get a warm reception when his first shit dropped, radio/labels would have no incentive to push his shit.
If you dont like his music, fine.. but y'all dudes saying he's wack and cant rap are lame faggots
People play his music because it is marketable and people listen to it. I'm not a fan, to be honest. I feel like he raps about the same shit in every song.
cash rules everything around me
if people dont like it from jump they aint gonna pay attention to him... Now if its Beyonce or Jay-z, established artists, that started dropping wack music then thats different..
