I hear optimists feel we live in the best possible place
And pessimists fear that this case is true
Though half-empty seems the smartest view
She proves away theorems of vacant space

Once I was unlucky, and she looked into my eyes
Now I’m ready for hell and I'll jump in head first
Or on Earth, an infinite effort to give myself worth
Unluckiness breeds from my infinite prize

Meant for more powerful eyes, unique and perfect is she
And oh, how useful in court she would be
The optimist lawyer's omnipotent ace up his sleeve
All charges dropped, as the attorneys begin to agree

    Please don't fret about a half-empty world
With pains and torments that can haunt it and harm it
I know a secret, friend, as profound as is sure
That any place with her in it, is perfection incarnate

Written for and inspired by the love of my life

    SAMARA truth is a sword

the poem was a little out of form. it doesnt have to rhyme but the lines werent balance in rhythm. good topic .. nice drop
