The arms industry comes in for a lot condemnation, said condemnation seemingly arising from the juvenile belief that if people didint make weapons then other people wouldnt have wars. This ignores that the hottest diasaster to be seen pretending to care about this season is darfur, a conflict in which the weapon of choice has been the humble machete. If you people would think with your brains rather than your flamingo pink pussies it would quickly become clear to you that the cheif effect of the arms industry is to reduce the number of deaths from war, civillian casualties in particular. If you froze military technology in the 1950's, or at any other point in the past you choose, then in almost every conflict to occur after that cutoff point the casualties wouldve been substantially higher. The arms industry has saved more lives than any banner waving peacenik. Fuck identity.
