One of Rockys best verses.
This album is KNOCKINGGGGGGGGGG.
Every track is nice, I'm on my 4th 5th listen now.
In my Top 5 albums of 2012.
Ya, this shit is pure fire not even a asap fan at all.
Long live asap
Wtf...lol....you need to get out more...
More demonstration of why this site is populated with morons.
Get your collective heads out of your collective asses.
Not only did Asap Cocky blatantly bite his name from a long standing emcee, he also besmirched that name being that his subject matter is pure garbage.
At least Aesop Rock has something to say on most of his tracks.
he definitely bit his name off an underground backpack mc and piggybacked off his nonexistent 2012 hype to get to where he is now. it's all due to the people that fuck up typing "aesop rock" into google
labor days one of my all time favorite hip hop albums but aes ain't been relevant in hip hop for years b. theres a strong chance rocky ain't even heard of aesop rock before
fucking faggots how do they work?
Skelethon was actually alright.
but yeah, dude isn't on A$AP's radar...
this is now an aesop rock thread.
throw in some some p.o.s for good measure.
wow all those songs and u ended up only posting one good one, what are the odds
odds depends. let's assume that 75% of songs are bad. now, it's reasonable to assume that a certain amount of songs are so bad that they would never be listened to, and therefore wouldn't factor into this chance as if i've never listened to them i wouldn't post them. so we'll drop it down to 65%.
for the sake of this post we'll assume that the odds of each song being good are independent from one another. this isn't necessarily the best method as we aren't taking into account the taste of the person (for example, for each bad song a person likes it becomes more and more likely that they simply have bad taste and therefore all the songs they like are bad. but it's hard to quantify that without more information. especially when you consider that music taste is largely subjective).
so, we've established that each song has a 65% chance of being bad. I posted 6 songs.
therefore .65^6 = 0.075. The chance of all songs being bad is 7.5%.
the chance of 5 of the songs being bad, and one being good (.65^5*.35) = 4%
Nice.. I was going to do something similar to post a balance. You did however, leave out one of my favorites...
this is now a definitive juxtapositions thread
broke out the cage and blazed an ice cold bowl of sage
hahahaha I need to get out more to see Aesop Rock doesn't suck? okay
Definitely not an Aesop Rock fan.
Also, definitely not an Asap Rocky fan.
I'm simply pointing out that Asap Rocky definitely, (idgaf what you say) bit his name from Aesop.
I'm also pointing out the fact that Asap Rocky fucking sucks, and the fact that he bit his name from an emcee who has been around for a long time amplifies his suck factor.
Whether the emcee with the original name is dope or not is a matter of opinion, although I would definitely listen to an Aesop Rock track before I'd listen to an Asap Rocky track just on g.p., and out of respect for originality as well as genuine underground hip hop, although truthfully, you wouldn't catch me dead rolling around bumping either one in my car.
Omg lol ^
ASAP Rocky sucks now???????
I've heard it all now.
honestly doh, i seen aesop rock live 4 times and used to bump Float to this day but A$AP on that new joint 'Suddenly' shits on anything aesop ever did
