Tell me some good, quick, CLEAN meals...

    The one that I've been eating a lot goes like this:

    Bake a potato (or microwave). While that's going on, open up a can of beans and heat them up.

    Once the potato is done, open it. Scoop out a nice little reservoir. Put them beans in there with a nice fat pad of butter. If you want to up the protein a little, you can add sour cream, cheese, cottage cheese. Or sometimes I mash the beans and throw some jalapenos in there.

    You've got carbs, protein, fat and great fiber (especially if you eat the skins like I do)

    Takes like 10 minutes or less if you use the microwave.

    most of my meals look like

    50g of protein
    7g fat
    20-25g carbs

    so, a typical meal would be...

    8 oz steak or chicken breast
    1/2 oz almonds or 1 Tbsp peanut butter
    1 medium orange

    its about 600 k/cals

    a real popular combination:

    1/4 cup instant dry oats
    a tablespoon of peanut butter
    1 small banana
    a scoop of whey powder and a cup of skim milk

    + mixer.

    theres a couple variations, but they're all quick and relatively clean.

    change your pasta to wheat pasta and add canellli beans to the sauce. its fast, lots of protein and white beans react almost like chitosen where it wont let your body store fat.
    or there is always hummus in a wrap with lettuce feta cucumbers and cauliflower.

    veggie dogs are awesome they sound gross but the meat eaters in my family didnt know they were'nt meat and there is only 4.5 grams of fat plus change the bun to a wheat and add mr mustard and its delicious. high in protein too
    and the thicker crust kashi pizzas are good.

  7. i use cottage cheese because i hate sour cream...... this is usualy what i eat.. because its easy to make plus it taste better than all the other stuff.. i ate cottage cheese sense i was a kid.. do you buy the low fat kind or just the regular one?
