Suplement Stacks

    What do you use, if you use one?

    Right now I'm using Acetyl L-Carnitine, Cayenne, Green Tea Extract and Ginseng Extract to work as a fat burner, and I will probably add caffeine to that as well. Not sure though because there's already caffeine in the Green Tea and I drink 2 cups of Green Tea a day as well.

    To round out my stack, I use Beverly International (BI) Lean Out, BI Muscle Synergy and BI Creatine Select.

    For workouts I use Prograde Workout before and after, along with Xtend BCAA Watermelon during the workouts.

    I also use Prograde EFA icon and the Multivitamin, and I take regular Glucosamine for joints as well.


    What do you use, and what's the most effective stacks you've found work for what you are doing? Have you found better ones for leaning or bulking?

    Man, I just ain't got the money right now.

    I would use BCAA's, ZMA, Glutamine, and probably ALA.

    I don't think that's really considered a stack though.

    I wish I had the money though cause leaning out is just taking too long.

    I've been basically powerlifting, I'm getting a lot stronger and more solid.

    But that little bit of fat from stubborn areas: a little on my triceps/armpit area, love handles and a little on my ass :gay:

    Just don't want to go away, I always felt I got leaner faster when supplementing.

    It really helps out from a detoxification standpoint pretty hard to lose fat without that.

    Best thing I ever used to lean out was called San Attitude.

    What it did was stopped testosterone from being turned into estrogen.

    Shit worked really good in 3 months I got super lean, I was probably under 10% BF.

    I think testosterone conversion is a problem with me cause I have hypothyroid/insulin issues I really need to get checked out.

    So my insulin is high, due to having an untreated hypothyroid for a LONG time now (over 10 years).

    It's kind of cool cause I put on muscle pretty easily, but if I don't work out for a while my body practically turns into mush, my muscle just disappears (thank God for muscle memory).

    Anyways why I went into that rant: San Attitude worked excellently I was 160 Lbs. of almost pure muscle, and stronger than I had ever been at the time.

    But I stopped taking it in conjunction with not working out or eating properly, no BS I put about 25 Lbs. on in about 1 1/2 months..

    what do whey protein isolates do? I've been lookin at shakes i can add in, and i do my normal 24g pro/4-6g carb protein shakes w/ blueberries, strawberries and oats to get a few more good carbs & sugar in, but i'm sure i could step it up. just don't know what certain shit does.

    dymatize elite is my protein shit. i like the lean body packs, but i don't really get what protein isolates are.

    i feel you on the leaning out problem. i've dropped 45 in 4.5 months, and have the muscle - which is never a problem for me, but the love handles & groin (inner thigh) is just fuckin stubborn! i'm injured right now though, so i'm crankin cardio which should shred that shit off after a couple months. fuckin gettin lean is hard.

    No idea what they do, but I used to take ON 100% Whey Extreme Milk Chocolate and it was aight. Disgusting with water, great with milk, but I care more about what it does.

    Right now, I'm natural. No supplements. The progression is coming a bit slower, but I just don't wanna ever be dependent on supplements. Getting a little bit of help with some supplements is tempting, though. Haha.

    But to my knowledge, isolates stay in your system for a smaller amount of time than the average protein powder so you can have more protein, which is why some of these protein powder tubs that are isolates say you can have up to 8 per day.

    cool thanks.

    and i'm only taking supplements now because i'm trying to get to my target. once i'm there, sustaining without supplements will be easy.

    besides, most of my supplements are natural sources that your body doesn't produce, and you should take to keep your body working at an optimal level. the workout shakes, etc. is just to have your body fueled and burning fat instead of muscle.

    either tendonitis in my elbow, or i hyperextended it. i gotta hit the doctor, but i've had a month of massage therapy, and have another 1.5 months to go and it hasn't gotten better.

    can't grip, hug, press, throw punches, do mat work...can't do a fuckin workout at all with my upper body.

    I'm actually getting leaner just doing more cardio.

    Right now I'm 185 I'd say about 12% BF or so.

    Haven't taken measurements in a while though I should.

    cardio just isn't doin it for me, i don't know why...

    i think it all goes back to not being able to utilize my upper body...ever since this elbow injury i haven't lost a pound.

    for the past month i was taking

    BSN NOxplode pre workout
    T bomb mornings and evenings
    BSN True mass after workouts
    plus a multivitamin and vitamin C

    shit really showed gains

    2 months ago i was 173-175 roughly, now im at 191-192

    right now im trying to cut a little fat.. and its very hard for me

    taking hydroxycut hardcore to help, but im only taking it 10 days, no more.

    then i will switch back to a building stack

    im also currently taking glutamine and muscle milk, multivitamin also

    i dont wanna lose weight, just cut fat

    just bought some lipo 6 black and MAN vaporize to go with it.
