    *if?

i can't do anything to change it back. he's better off asking abs/nam dekan...or jeff directly like i did.

    Matches T. Malone

on the same account...but back then, the site used to be on a point system. get enough points and change your name. i did for a while, then asked to have it changed back. i might have to change back to that at some point...i can't simply drop the Illest name to grace this site completely.

    No.

I didn't even think of it. I meant to create a Yauma Day account almost a year ago...

It's completely different. Just because many people spell a word wrong doesn't mean its incorrect spelling should be in the dictionary.

My English teacher told me the opposite, and that I should always use "okay".

    I refute you thusly:

    http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/okay

My insult really hit deep, eh? I take it all back, just bring Superman70 back.

Gosh, but the English language is a whore. This would never happen in French.

I will grant that 'okay' is fine (or OK), but I counter with:

The Associated Press Stylebook recommends the spellings "OK, OKd OKing, OKs" and states "do not use [the spelling] okay."

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Okay#Spelling_style

    Obviously, 'OK' is better form.

I was mostly joking. I've been spelling it as "okay" for the last 7 years because my teacher told me to, so when I saw this thread I checked and saw that "OK" is the proper way. My whole reality came tumbling down before me =(

On the other hand, I'm not much of a believe in "proper spelling/grammar".

I was wondering if it was a British thing... because I see so many of you spelling the word out as 'okay.'
