I'm also against trends, too... when I was young and hip... whenever I did something and other people copied, I stopped and did something else.

Like cats are taking pants saggin' to the extreme... we used to sag a little when I was growing up... nowadays, dudes are walking around with their jeans almost down to their knees... it's not cool anymore.

And now that EVERYBODY has tattoos, it's not cool anymore, either.

Cool is always exclusive and elite.

^^^Probably why I don't have any tattoos on me. I don't want to be like everybody else and tbh I have yet to find something worth being permanent on my body.

My ex told me to never get a tattoo, and my current s/o isn't really concerned one way or the other. I don't think I ever will

I'm afraid to ask, was it a chihuahua or a bulldog? :scared:

Why do I get the feeling that everytime a person tattoos the significant other's name, the relationship tends to dissolve within a short period after that?

So it's either laser removal or having to find a person with the same name as an alternative, since I'm sure most people wouldn't appreciate another's name gracing their gf's/bf's/spouse's skin...:funny:

How the hell do you know if they regret it?

People get tattoos that're dumb in my opinion, but they fucking love them, so who am I to judge?

I love girls with tattoos. That girl Alias posted, I would marry upon first glance.

I know a few people who got their tattoos done, felt like they'll absolutely love them forever, but had a change of heart and eventually got them removed, since they've outgrown certain phases in life...

I'm not judging if a person gets a tattoo they'll "effing love" forever...it's the mayfly mishaps that irritate me to no end...and lyric tattoos...

There are more tattoed girls in the http://board.rapmusic.com/man-enough/1300115-rms-manly-man-thread-nsfw.html...

^Haha I'm sure there are but I'm not much for seeking out women who would not do the same for me.

Regardless, everybody does things on a whim. Some things effect us forever. Tattoos are the most glaring example of them.

Lyric tattoos, IMO, can bear the most meaning of anything. They can represent a philosophy, an idea, which no image could capture beyond words.

I have, on my ribs, "Life is cold, cold is pain, pain is growth." A concept written better than I've ever heard, and I've been writing for over a decade, and can say I don't think I'd ever encapsulate that idea better than those lyrics.

One thing I've noticed about tattoos and regret, is it actually seems to have little to do with the actual tattoo, the reason people regret them is the reasoning behind it, and I try not to pretend to assume I understand the reasoning of other individuals.

Everyone is judgemental in ways, and I am no exception, yet for some reason, this is one area I do not judge merit.

Except tramp-stamp tribals. Fuck that shit.
