nice talkin 2 u stash im ghost.....1 love
bitch!!!!!! die plz
no he doesn't .. i guarentee he don't have any monitors ..
plain and simple, that soundcard u got sucks .. it's not meant for recording .. u should get rid of it and at get either an emu 0404 or an emu 1212m ..
don't get a condensor mic before u know which mics will fit ur voice .. do u have a deep voice, high, or mid?? all mics dont work for everyone ya know ..
you'll need a pre amp .. at LEAST get a presons tubepre or a yamaha mg10/2 mixer which has excellent pre's in it .. both are $100 .. don't settle for less than that and get a shitty behringer mixer or ART pre amp ..
get some good cables, mogami ..
monitors .. don't spend any less than $300 .. ur best bet is to go with the wharfedale 8.2 mons for $340 .. but if ur a cheap fuck and dont want to spend the extra $40 then get the event tr5's or m-audio bx5's ..
learn how to mix decent in CEP and you'll be str8 ..
sorry, but that's the truth .. ur soundcard sucks bottom line .. better then a stock, yes, but not by too much ..
on your mic, don't get anything less then $100 either .. stay away from behringer mics or the mxl 990 .. like i said, whatever fits ur voice ..
just so noodles doesnt come in here and make himself look like an idiot again .. monitors = studio speakers .. NOT the monitor that can support up to 100 windows at once lmfaooooo ..
lol^ I was gonna say that bout noodles... hahaha...
yeah I had the soundblaster card awhile back, shit was better than stock but sucked ass.( if u got monitors u can hear the noise created by the card.)
anyway, if ur gettin a shitty condenser mic, it doesn't always mean better quality then a dynamic. I know... lol. If you get a condenser make sure your recording in a soundproofed/ quiet room. I agree wit syn on the mg/10 mixer for preamps.
You should have monitors, but I don't even got monitors and my mixes are great( but they could be much much much better with monitors).
Don't get all excited with the equipment your getting because if u can't mix, ur quality is gonna be horrible lol. Just tellin the truth man.
Half of tweezy
guys...amma add you....
Like everyone else said that card is trash. I have the M-Audio Firewire Computer Recording interface works good for me. I plug my mixer into it (Yamaha MG10/2) it works good for me. I can have better quality but this isnt bad.
