    appreciate ya hittin it

the entire track is written from the perspective of one of Nola Darling's lovers.

Nola Darling is the lead female in Spike's She's Gotta Have It. I threw some direct links lyrically to the movie and Spike as well (for example, "catch Mars Blackman leadin the pack")

Beat is tight, Hook is actually pretty solid man. First verse is tight, flow is on point and keeps your attention, lyrics are dope. I think your voice, delivery, and flow are all pretty polished, just work on getting premium quality and it'll be a done deal homie. I've never followed "Spike Lee joints" but this song is pretty dope.

Haha at dude above me saying it sounds like some Old Rhymesayers stuff, I completely agreealmost a Murs vibe.

    Keep at it

yea I didnt understand the Spike Lee tribute part of it...it kinda distracted me from the song caz I was trying to hear spike lee's references but didnt...anywho I liked the different flows u used through out this track....Liked the laid back voice u used on this and beat is calm with good melody...the hook was hit and miss but the verses were on point...good solid drop homie

appreciate you checkin it out homie - here's the explanation behind the SL tribute:

"the entire track is written from the perspective of one of Nola Darling's lovers.

Nola Darling is the lead female in Spike's She's Gotta Have It. I threw some direct links lyrically to the movie and Spike as well (for example, "catch Mars Blackman leadin the pack")"
