But that's the thing. Nobody here is giving him a pass for anything.

I think dream was the only one who even liked Control.

i'm not speaking for twitter and all that social media shit.

i'm saying, his mixtapes overly dedicated and section 80 were really good, the latter being better, but both good.

    Papoose doesn't get a response.

Kendrick was talking to bigger name rappers and NEW up and comers, not washed up nobodies

I still say Kendrick needs to deliver a few lyrical beatdowns to be considered official... "Control" was slap-boxing amongst friends... even if a puppy is nippin' at your heels, you still gotta kick him to get him off you, because nippin' is annoying.

Matter fact we should stop giving passes to them niggas that got called out in Control and didn't respond.

    "Jermaine Cole, Big KRIT, Wale
Pusha T, Meek Millz, A$AP Rocky, Drake
Big Sean, Jay Electron', Tyler, Mac Miller"

I'm not expecting shit from Drake or Mac Miller. But J. Cole should've responded on the same tip, the same "we homies but I want to be the best too".

Cole addressed it in TKO somewhat.

In a sense, anybody that makes a big deal about is gonna look dumb because they'd be acknowledging that Kendrick is a threat or that they needed him to motivate them.

Others like Tyler and Mac Miller probably just legitimately don't care

didn't he say something like "he's dissing the rappers he didn't mention".

it makes sense, but i think everybody's taking this out of context.
