I was literally 20 odd something credits away from my AA, and I've realized having those credentials behind my name is a must if I want to advance in the workfield..

My major was originally Psychology, but I just don't see myself doing much with an AA in that area. To make big bucks off that, you'd need atleast a Masters or PhD. I doubt you could even be a school counselor or some shit with such a basic degree, though I could be wrong..

I also entertained the idea of going to a technical college and receiving an AA in Office Systems Technology, but I don't think there's a broad spectrum for that degree either. Thoughts?

What is something I can get my AA in then automatically possibly find a decent paying job? Or is going for another 2 years to obtain a BA really that important?

I have no interest in nursing, tbh

However accounting is cool. I actually took and passed a Beginning to Accouting course during my first semester, but it is a somewhat rigorous class.. lot of work and stuff to remember, tbh. But it pays great

^In America, most of them are for-profit.

Anyone who knows anything about the education industry (in America, it's an industry, NOT a public service) knows not to go to for-profit schools.

Anyways, I got my associate's in human services.

You will be able to get a job IMMEDIATELY, but it will be for SHIT pay and chances are you'll hafta pass a piss test to get the gig.

Whoever said accounting or nursing was on point.

Anything with business really, you'll be able to get a job as a manager of some chain store and move your way up and build your resume.

I got an AS from a technical school so I feel what @Shadow is sayin. Do what you love, bottom line. Pay is important but not near as important as enjoying what you do imo.

    Ignore this broke nigga bullshit.

Having a shitty ass job doesn't mean a fucking thing if you're making that gwop. Shit, ain't no amount of job related stress that can't be handled with good drugs & a bad bitch.

Better to have high blood pressure while swimming in dimes & diesel than be healthy & fucking hoodrats in your mom's basement while smoking garbage.
