so i stopped working out and gained alot of weight..

    is this normal? my diet didn't change any I just stopped going to the gym and I gained back 30 lbs, got down to 200 when i was working out and when i stopped i shot back up there to 230.. it broke my heart when I saw how fast it went back up... anyone notice something similar, would you get back into the same routine if you was me or start from square one?

    i don't know what square one is, but if you gained 30lbs because you stopped working out, you had a shitty diet.

    my first suggestion is to change up what you're eating, and my second suggestion is to get back into some form of exercise. maybe start off jogging and lifting light to get back into the feel of things.

    i didnt work out to get big or nothing just to lose weight but when i stopped it seemed to creep back up, I was on a low cal diet, but I think I was eating more than I should since the diet was low cal I thought I could eat w/e I wanted of it.

    calories are important but not as important as watching how much processed shit you put in your body. if you're eating a lot of starches, sugary or fatty foods, you're gonna gain weight.

    disagree, calories are most important thing.


    you can eat 2k calories of ice cream, or 2k calories of apples. you'll put on the exact amount of weight.

    i knew i'd get a smart alec reply from someone that probably knows nothing about nutrition. i've read countless books on it. have you?

    weight loss is 100% calorie intake. this is fact. feel to research the topic yourself. i've been bodybuilding for over 4 years. i cut to 9% bodyfat and getting my fat intake from ice cream.

    you can eat whatever you want aslong as you get your daily protein, fat requirements. also its important to get your micronutrients.

    Anybody that thinks Ice Cream is a good source of calories is a damn fool. period.

    and the guy with the abs in the post probably can't run a half mile without bending over yakking for air. just because you got abs don't mean you got stamina and ice cream ain't helping you one bit, lie to yorself if you want to.

    Ice Cream is 95% milk fat. nothing good about it.

    my first recommendation is to modify up what you're consuming, and my second recommendation is to get returning into some way of work out. maybe start off running and raising mild to get returning into the feel of things.
