Smoke marijuana after your workout?

    Saw an article about that in a muscle magazine, also Arnold use to someone told me.......

    Does anyone here?

    I dunno, I find it relaxes me fully after a good lift. You get a good pump going and lifting until failure. Oh well.

    I don't smoke marijuana anymore for the time being.

    But when I did, I used to smoke pre-workout. I just felt like I could lift more and my form was 50x better when I was high. Focus and concentration was greatly increased.

    ^^ i hated to work out high. i dont know why, but i wouldnt push myself as hard as i did sober.


    since when i leave the gym im usually super fuckin tired, especially if it was a day when i ran or jump roped to near failure i would almost feel high without smoking. so when i got home i would always spark a couple bowls and hit up the volcano, and get ridiculously high.



    but i cant do that anymore, oh well.

    sounds stupid

    weed decreases male hormone, the shit that promotes muscle growth, so you're basically making your workout less effective.

    that sounds like some fiend shit unless your smokin with friends afterwards

    somtimes i smoke before but neve ron purpos...but i dont mind working out high im like the guy above, i am able toconcentrate more

    pot is not going to be detrimental to your precious male hormones or your workout unless you smoke a ton and stay high often

    and how is it "fiend shit" smokin without ur friends? everyone does it alone sometimes. do you even smoke?

    Bud stops that stuff from getting into your muscles that makes them kind of hurt and feel fatigued during reps so your muscles don't feel as tired during the workout (for some reason I can't think of the name for it). It also helps the blood flow into the muscles better.

    I prefer to smoke after the workout because I usually do a lot of cardio after lifting and I don't really like smoking right before I do some cardio.

    NEW STUDY FINDS POT DOESN'T LOWER TESTOSTERONE

    A new study by Dr. Robert Block at the University of
    Iowa disputes the commonly held notion that marijuana alters
    the level of testosterone and other sex hormones.
    The study contradicted a widely publicized 1974 study
    by Dr. R.C. Kolodony, which reported decreased testosterone
    levels in men who smoked marijuana chronically.
    The U. of Iowa study found that chronic marijuana use
    had no effect on testosterone, luteinizing hormone, follicle
    stimulating hormone, prolactin and cortisol in men or women.
    Noting that six other studies had failed to show
    lowered testosterone levels in men, Dr. Block concluded: "It
    appears that marijuana, even heavy use of the kind that's
    typical in the United States, doesn't alter testosterone levels."
    However, he cautioned that heavy use might have other
    adverse effects, including "possible effects on reproductive
    function and mild, selective cognitive impairments associated
    with heavy, chronic use."
    Block's study is published in Drug and Alcohol
    Dependence, Vol. 28: 121-8 (1991).

    I love it before and after a workout.

    That being said, get a vaporizer. I've read that they decrease 95% of smoke-related health problems. Since having a vaporizer I have noticed an extremely positive difference in my health and vocal quality!!! A must-have for athletes and musicians who love green acres and their health and performance.
