Suddenly habits that USED to be so endearing begin to ANNOY you. Suddenly ALL you see are their bad habits...They chew with their mouth open, they use bad grammer, they don't have anything interesting to say anymore, they BORE you to tears.

You pick fights with them over minor annoyances, you don't enjoy their touch anymore, in fact, you cringe when they kiss or try to hug you. You fantasize about someone else while your making love to them.

You hate the cologne they wear, you dislike their clothes, you think they dress tacky. You can't even bring yourself to say the "L" word to them anymore.

HOW DID YOU KNOW YOU WERE FALLING OUT OF LOVE OR THAT SOMEONE WAS FALLING OUT OF LOVE WITH YOU. WHAT WERE THE SIGNS?

    great topic mr rip! =)
i didnt even want to see him. Didnt want to talk to him on the phone, didnt really care about the things he has to say. It was just sex keeping the relationship alive.. and even that was not "good". Everything seemed fine first but things change, people change...you know how it goes

I don't think there is a such thing as "falling out of love"... it's called "falling out of infatuation."

    i dissagree..

you think people that get divorced after 15 years of marriage just realize the infatuation is over?

It's possible... usually when long marriages end in divorce it's because they "ended" a long time ago and the couple was just going through the motions because of either children or denial, since many people don't want to admit failure.

Love is so complex, though... that it's hard to simplify, even though I want to. I'm sure there are many shades of grey to this issue.
