Dose One is the best emcee ever.

haha, sike that flow is garbage. How the fuck did he make it to the semi-finals in '97 at scribble. He battled Eminem I think and lost. what a weird battle that must have been.

He battled Rhymefest and won (pretty sure). Then, he battled Juice and lost. After that Juice battled Em and destroyed his confidence.

"YOU CAN SPRAYPAINT YA BACKPACK & CALL YASELF AN MC!!!" Juice to Em. Damn, that line was killer.

Dose lost to Rhymefest. Em lost to Juice. So it was supposed to be Rhymefest vs Juice, but Rhymefest bowed out. As to what happened next, I'm not sure. Dose battled Em, and I think Dose won and then lost to Juice. But I'm not sure exactly.

    Peace

Rhymefest bowed out in this battle because he didn't want to battle his boy Juice. So the final then consisted of Juice, Eminem, and Dose. They all battled each other for the title, with Juice coming through. There was no one-on-one type battle in the final.

Uhh, how am I wrong kid? I have the Scribble Jam 97 battle footage. In the final there was no one-on-one battle since there were three battlers left.

To that herb riff raff. Eminem and Juice battled one-on-one for five rounds, that was BEFORE they both made the final.

Okay, this is a little recap I found about '97 on another site.

Every contest has it’s politics and this magnificent one wasn’t exempt though it didn’t take away from the event. The semi-finalists Juice, Rhymefest, Dose One & Eminem advanced inside to the arena where it boiled down to Juice and Rhymefest. Rhymefest pulled what some would call a gallant show of sportsmanship or a cop out by not battling friend, rhyme partner and fellow Chicagoan, Juice for the title. The Style Wars must go on! Emineim battled Dose One as 3rd and 4th with Emineim advancing. Juice defeated Emineim to take the spoils.

I take from this that it was simply the winner of Dose vs. Eminem who moved on to lose to Juice. You know what would've been real intersting is if Juice had beaten Black Pegasus in this year's Scribble semis and gone to face Rhymefest. That would've been some deja vu shit. I wonder if Rhymefest would've declined again.

^ yo, Juice was the first to spit in the final, followed by Dose then eminem. The winner was decided from this battle. No one-on-one ish afterwards - peep the video yourself for evidence.

This is Indiana Jones, Fest's DJ/Manager, and I can tell you with %100 certainty that Fest would NOT have bowed out of the battle if Juice would have won against Black Pegasus.
