Nodding off. Then, holy shit, it's Stephen Fry! Immediately energized for the rest of the movie.

it's the desolation of 161 minutes of my life.

that movie wasn't worth making. this should've been 2 movies. all that's left is smaug getting killed which is probably the shortest part of the book.

Negativity for negativity sake. At least know what you're talking about, jackass. Bout "Desolation of 161 minutes of my life" faggot, "movie wasn't worth making" such a faggot, "all that's left is to say I don't know what I'm talking about" Good job.

negativity for the sake of the movie was boring as shit, had no relevance and did nothing to further the story. it was 2.5 hours of hurry up and wait for nothing. it was an unnecessary transitional segment of a trilogy that, had it been part of the first or third installations, and the trilogy was 2 movies, would have made it better.

there were cool parts of the movie, but overall nothing happened. there's a reason why it got shitty reviews and most people that love and look forward to peter Jackson's movies were depressed about this movie.

now we have to wait until December 17th to watch the movie we should've been watching last month.

nobody I know liked it. haven't read good reviews about it.

and we're all fans of the series. I was really looking forward to this cuz I thought they were gonna kill smaug and then the third installment would go deeper into the necromancer and stuff.

now I dread how he's gonna drag out smaug dying for 2.5 hours where it should be 15-30 minutes tops.

I don't know how people can bitch about getting more. They took a very iconic piece of literature, and made a film from it, but wait, there's more, they ADDED things to the story, PLUS, they made it relevant to LOTR, and provided explanations for where Gandalf fucks off too. You got THREE movies from a single book, and you bitch about it.

How was it interesting or useful? You tell me, you and all your friends are "fans of the series".

    so it was stephen fry.

i kept thinking it was james may from top gear.

legolas and gandalf aren't even in the second book, they just put them in for sales.

i concluded that tolkien's dwarves are jewish, short, big nose, cowardly, love money and on a quest for a holy land.
