    1. Introduction

Well, last week was a pretty good week in my opinion. Lots of extensions but everyone showed minus two people. There’s nothing new going in place this week. I’m excited to see how Movie Titles week goes. Should turn out well. With that said, let’s get straight to it

    2. Recap

Nu’maaN showed once again he’s one of the best in this league, taking the Championship from the up and coming Shadow, who’s showing he’s most definitely one to be taken seriously in this league. I was able to defeat Lucifa in the Contendership match and will face Nu’maaN in the Championship Match this week. MC Guttso was able to defeat Link Gash in a good battle. Guttso will face Soull in the Contendership match, who won the battle of no-show verses against nom last week. nO gOoD! and Fac3 had a good battle that received way less votes than it should have, and nO gOoD! prevailed with a creative idea for his verse. Yung Troy no showed K3, who came back into the league after a bit of a leave, and KDP no showed Pain, who was on quite a leave as well. And Bonnie defeated EternalPath in the last battle of the week.

-------------- Welcome to your Personal Data Assistant ---------------

    First Message:

To: Chief of Aeronautical Exploration Division, Colonel Marshall Fredricks

    Friday July 14, 2028:

    Good Morning Sir:

I received a situation report from Commander John Stevens yesterday in regards to the progress your exploration team has made thus far, however Sir, I need to verify the following information is correct:

While on the latest space exploration project, I understand you and your crew of 15 astronauts, landed on Gliese 581d, the super massive earth like planet. Back in April 2009 new observations by the original discovery team concluded that the planet is within the habitable zone where liquid water, and therefore, life, could exist. While searching the planet for signs of life, your team had stumbled upon a container made of a wax like substance; your crew cracked open the container, and within was small box with a pearl looking button on the top. From my understanding you pushed the button and a strange holographic image appeared (Displayed Above). once that image was uploaded to our lab, I converted the image into a text document so you could read it. Sir, it seems to be written in a strange alien language. Scientists back at our lab later found that the language could be cracked by formatting the text to something legible to humans. We’ve never quite seen anything like this before. Please download the attachment provided for your further analysis. Remember to include your findings and recommendations with the document, once received. Thank you in advance Sir, we look forward to your return to earth.

    We expected you.

My people deeply wish for your spiritual enlightenment.
With the hopes that…we’re steering you with the right intent,
You can't see or hear, but I’m near to you when the light is sent
You call me “Alien” but yet your fearful when my life is meant
for good. You now know my space craft is leaked to see
Yet you say I don't exist, my face masked in secrecy.
This planet’s inhabitable, dead plants, the sky is toxic.
Still your transportation needs an advance in fibre optics.
No government; we’re equal, standing as one
Remember Roswell? There’s a sequel. Plans have begun
Your planet’s so much different, alleys and streets to see
I can help you, but you have to walk these valleys and peaks with me,
My heart beats to three suns that orbit the planet.
We’re at peace, who needs guns; our minds absorbing the damage.
your race still lacks the drive to seek intelligence.
you feed off violence, look how you treat the elephants.
we need you to understand we are peacefull as people,
you should adopt this instead of being deceitfull and evil,
we're open to explore, the oceans and the shore,
but your focus is on more, so your broken to the core.
    But you're just humans.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
**they don't eat - they just exist - no speach - they don't have lips
we're so weak - they don't get sick - our beliefs - they interdict.**

    Dear, Dr. George H.

We've stopped to explore the place,
and come to the conclusion there's alot that's more to space,
I've seen rocks that break of magma, a lot of lakes of plasma.
We're doing fine here, so don't worry 'bout Jake, his asthma
is under control in the suits, although its cold in the boots,
and the lack of gravity, makes us grab hold of the roof.
My team and I have seen the skies, but no still no signs of life.
I don’t mean to pry, but I believe it’s wise we leave when the time is right.
we found a ship, I'm trying to rehearse the engine steering
the new technology consists of reversing engineering.
I thought I knew it all, but then I knew I had it backwards,
this ship isn't from earth, it wasn't human manufactured.
something isn't right, all life seems to have fled and left,
I can barely ever rest and get pains in my head and chest.
this place is hard to describe, it's creepy and desolate,
my belief, it's best we split, so we're seeking a second ship.
one last thing worries me Doc, whether it's better for worse,
our intelligence gathered enough to say they're headed to earth.

Journey to a desolate place, where expectations are great
Yet it's hard to create in a place you've yet to escape
The pressure is placed on us to be clever and chase
a place untouched, a world measured as vague

We landed in this zone, alone, but with a true purpose
We refused to lose, even with this murky subdued surface
Darkness ensued, but our courage would surely prevail
Stomping through Mud and dirt, unsure if we'd fail
For hours we walked, across a stale and dry terrain
With the pain sustained, we never once made complaints
Face was strained, staring off as if there were horizon
Hoping darkness would subside and light would shine in
Just then the wind chimed in, reminded me of it's cold
I walked bold as I stare down this non existant road
Grasping to a hope that seems to be held onto in vain
Scenary remains unchanged, Nothin' in view but the same.
this land is mamed of anything meant to be beautiful
life and color are smothered in conditions unsuitable
I find this dark world swirled in walls of confinement
A world lifeless where one's third eye is blinded
Despite it, the fight in us was up for the test of time
instead of death we decide to keep our steps in stride
with my weapon I keep steppin' but it seems i'm stuck
I feel like collapsin' as my passion retreats stumped

Journey to a desolate place, where expectations are great
Yet it's hard to create in a place you've yet to escape
The pressure is placed on us to be clever and chase
a place untouched, a world measured as vague

Aborting the mission, yes I truly have that fear
Due to the hazy conditions of this atmosphere
As I've travelled a far distance, The doubts intrude
Until my eyes squint with pleasure at a mountain view
Maybe I can do what I set out to do, what inspiration
As my tired legs push ahead fueled by anticipation
Precipitation lays adjacent to the base of this mass
Cross a river to climb a mountain, maybe it's that..
barrier to break to place us where we intended to be
break the chains of darkness where our vision is free
As I get to the peak my heart plunders under some grief
Land traded for sea, just as dark with even less to see
The stress is deep, finally I am forced to just give up
tides that turn for warn this storm is against us
We started this journey with the intent to finish it up
But it could be months before I again Pick this Pen up

Journey to a desolate place, where expectations are great
Yet it's hard to create in a place you've yet to escape
No aliens to see, Just these thoughts tied in knots
Journey through this Desolate place known as Writer's Block

    4. No Show Shine

This week's No Show Shine winner is Pain

He smokes a lot of cigarettes, it's heard in his voice,
His stomache would grow grass if eatin' dirt was a choice,
He's poorer than the serfs in the fiefdoms of lore,
He sees breifcase carrying people as whores,
His world is a corner, and a box in the night,
With a philosopher's might, we wields knowledge contrite,
He feels following eyes steal thoughts from his mind,
Through the glances towards the population walkin' on by,
He watches children cry, they constantly die,
As they approach stores with shine caught in their eyes,
They fly off to the light, eyes lost in desire,
Moths to the flame, greed fathered the fire,
While their mother tugs their hand, away from the goals,
That their parents set before them on the way down the road,
Mother said, "Son you gotta fake it to make it,
Or you'll be sittin' by yourself instead of takin' it home,"
Father said, "Son, see this paper is sacred,
It's what everyone works to attain to be whole"
It's painfully known, even from his faded throne,
He sits and listens to the mother speak a weightless tome,
"Father's waitin' at home," probably hatin' his role,
Probably wishin' that he didn't have this chain on his soul,
Seein' gifts as burdens, and burdens as the means,
While wifey keeps enticing, and works as adam's eve,
Telling him the apple hasn't fallen from the tree,
That he worked with his hands, spreading pollen like disease,
This is what he sees, as he holds with his hands,
A sign screaming why have you sold me to the land,
While you step across my feet like a roach on the ground,
Was once lost, when am I supposed to be found?
He worked those jobs of the people he loathes,
But those meaningless goals chose eating his soul,
Foes, demons, and hoes, clothes, beepers, and gold,
Became his inpatient fixation, keeping him whole,
But he left that life to stare from a spot,
His back to the bricks, his derrier on the block,
Cup to his knees, pleading his case,
And laughs as the people keep feeding him change,
They stereotype, instead of seeing depth in shine,
They keep throwin' coins, cuz they never even read his sign....

    17. DirtBoy69 0-0
    18. Restproof 0-0
    19. Rem Lynxis 0-0

    6. Predictions

Nu vs Ace- Good luck big homie

Guttso vs Soull- Two very good writers here. Both will come strong, but I see Guttso edging it out

Pain vs nO gOoD!- Definitely the favorite for Battle of the Week here. I see Pain winning but both will come strong

K3 vs Bonnie- I think this battle depends on how much time Bonnie has on her hands for a verse. If she can take her time I see her winning this, but K3 is a stronger writer and definitely shouldn’t be overlooked

Shadow vs Lucifa- Shadow keeps running into tough competition every week and he keeps showing up strong every time. Shadow has to come with his A game this week if Lucifa has time on his hands for a strong verse. I’m gonna say Shadow gets this, but by the smallest margin in a very close match

nom vs Blitz- Another dope battle. I’m gonna say nom gets this, but Blitz can still easily take it if he comes like he did during his championship run

Fac3 vs Eternal- I haven’t seen enough of Eternal to know exactly how her skills are. But Fac3 always comes with it so I’m choosing Fac3 in this battle

Dee-black vs Atreyu- I’m going with Atreyu in this one

DirtBoy vs RestProof vs Rem- Now I’ve seen Rest and Rem before, but I don’t know how DirtBoy is. I think for now I’ll go with Rem, but I’m interested to see how this battle goes.
