    Battle of the Week
    No Show Shine
    Match Ups
    Predictions
    Babe of the Week
    Motivational Poster of the Week
    Conclusion

Introduction: Last week went very well with only a couple no shows as well only 1 extension which made it a rather good week in terms of voting. With that said lets get on with this weeks magazine.

Recap: Nu’maaN held his title as champion for another week and ace proved that he is a very strong contender in the league; MC Guttso won the contender match in a landslide of votes in his favor, putting him in the championship match this week against Nu’maaN. Lucifa held his own against ShadowWarriorfs in a lopsided casting of votes, I pulled a huge upset with a win against Pain in which I was predicted to lose. Rem Lynxis and Link tied this week with an even number of votes, Fac3 beat Eternalpath, Restproof showed he’s a force to be reckoned with, Dee-Black no showed on Atreyu, and Blitz no-showed on nom, neither K3 or Bonnie made an appearance for their battle this week.

    Battle of the week

    Rem Lynxis

24 blocks and 7 steps around the corner
welcomes the shopper to the little house of horrors
rotten sausage linkins greetin with polished trinkets
Jinglin every time the metal door begins creakin.
"Thank you for coming!" greets the crow by the door,
wonder what he meant, but brushed aside to explore.
the scent of sulfur prevaids the haze of asphalt
Fruit bats lie in wait to taste ya Adam's Apple.
Zippin through the angles of all the troubled mirrors,
which switch life and death to figure what's becomin clearer -
    - you hit the cashier where, u buy what ya eyes catch,
examinin' the price tags that'll minus ya life span.

    *DING* Happy Hour

So inspectin the back, the stock room's loaded
where a ghoul and ghost wish, that you would open
but you revoked it, so you examine the products
steerin clear of the chest keepin Pandora boxed up.
Now zombies' walkin, no Scoob and Shag for rescue,
The gang was outside but the Mystery Van has left you.
Gazin out the window you leap in a mad panic,
swiftly dash, brandish cash, askin boss-man to bag it
But damnit he's laggin, you snag a watch from 'em
Clock's past midnight and it doesn't stop runnin.
vision gettin hazey, feelin' feint at the front end
you black out as the crow says "thanks again for comin' "

    Link Gash

A glow the hue of cobalt-blue accompanied it's bleeped, deft, vestige...
Alerting the dexterous thumbs of middle-management to the fresh presence of a text message.
Despite his best efforts in ignoring its incredulous sound,
    He let it ring out,
While the cellphones face lit up and beamed brightly -
Much like his own as he then read it aloud.
Before he jettisoned down the steps of his house,
With steeled eyes affixed on "Cn we meet up 2day?"
Needless to say his cellphones screen had relayed the text message up on its scenic display.
His demeanour then changed with immediate haste as the astute businessman seemed to pause,
And glean in thought, with his smile opening upwards much like his lavish Lamborgini doors.
When reaching for his handheld phone,
Its shells chrome cradled in his massive hands,
Activating its Sat Nav feature which mapped and planned his route around the interference of traffic jams.
Its navigation kept him a happy man, and he placed his trust in its alert settings,
Yet he never lacked a sense of direction when it came to his work ethic.
He'd exert effort and deserved merit for the enthusiasm he brought with him each day,
Yet the phone he owned had slowly grown from a must-have gadget to a portable PA.
It would order the names of clientele all by itself, placing them right at his fingertips,
And provided a valueable lifeline while he was away from the heartbeat of family life on business trips.
He missed his kids, and thoughts of being unfaithful had never entered the affairs in his head,
Though when his wife rang, he'd joke it was just him and Sam Tsung who were sharing a bed.
There was unbearable stress in his job, which he somehow encumbered with verity,
Though his phones hundred 'accessories', had gradually become a necessity.
He had just sprung from the mezzanine with his mobile's status set to ignore,
When it dawned on him just how rarely he spoke to anyone in the flesh anymore.
He'd send them plethoras of texts, but never remember to call or include his friends,
And so their friendships grew as empty and non-commital as the exchange of messages they used to send.
His afternoons were spent in board meetings bored out of his skull,
Sat with accountants so dull, he almost found it insulting how long they took to ground out results.
    He found them repulsive,
a complete corporate clothes rack of faceless shirted males,
Who believed a child's concerning wail was but an unwanted distraction in the heady world of sales.
Words had failed him as he again stared down at his phone with hard tenacity,
While wishing he could plug himself into the mains to recharge his batteries.
But then he started panicking, while so tense his insides were shaking,
After realising his dependence on technology had meant he was isolated.
You could sense he was tired of waking up to the empty side of a bed,
And the countless nights that he'd spent away from the wife he'd neglect.
He wanted to see his children smiling again,
And to engage them in the vibrance of speech,
To make face-to-face contact without always having to lie through his teeth.
But by the time that he'd reached this conclusion and had his eyes opened,
The phone was flung in a volatile motion, then left lying with its insides broken.
With the device motionless on the floor, he stood over the case of its remains,
As a sense of freedom fought for position against the determination in his veins.
And from that day he would change as he prioritised the life that he lived,
He worked in a environment where time is money...
...but what price do you place on spending time with your kids?
It finally hit him that that which cost nothing but time to produce,
    Could be invaluable,
    Irreplaceable,
    Even priceless to you.
And that night was amusing after the days upturned events,
Because the children didn't receive your standard SMS reply -
Their father was returned to them.

    No-Show Shine

    Nom Berryman

I tie my bags with a shoestring budget
Loose ends tucked in my socks
    With luck and a rock

Cover my sins with dust and brittle
teeth rattles, bleed shadows lust and spittle
Follow my steps, hollow and breath
less, this sorrow is debt less
Fresh seventeen year old born yesterday
Chest of clay, a Shepherd’s face
Pepper spray grin, clock hand arms
drag the ground, a shop hands psalm
inscribed in the dirt, shy in the shirt
they made him wear, dying to work
    for sins and cigarette rations
    Another child’s vision reacting
with mortar shells and life itself
    only time will tell.

Keep my rifle loaded with guts
    Knee deep, frozen in mud
Holy and lost, prose of the gods
    a ghost of a shot

    We landed with demons whispering
words, third world bird shot christening
    blistering, heat. Risk a defeat
Silver clouds rip in the seam
My fists didn’t bleed, till bombs hit
    Re-writing a Somme script
We shone quick, trench teeth broke

He didn’t see the shot rattling
    through, only lacking a noose
    Passionate truth, cry my sleep
Tie my dreams, lies and grief
    Time blinds thieves, cross held
    me still, so we kill
    and I should repent
now I’ve killed one of the few good men.

    Matchups

    CHAMPIONSHIP
    C. Nu'maaN 10-2
    2. MC Guttso 13-3

    CONTENDERSHIP
    3. nO gOoD! 4-1
    4. Lucifa 3-2

    5. -FaC3- 4-4
    6. -Atreyu- 3-1

    7. Restproof 1-0
    8. Link Gash 1-0

    9. Rem Lynxis 1-0
    10. Soull 2-1

    11. .:pain:. 9-4
    12. ShadowWarriorfs 5-7

    13. Eternalpath 0-2
    14. DirtBoy69 0-1

    15. Got Life? 0-0
    16. BaySick 0-0

    17. Cereal_Killer 0-0
    18. P.S. F.UCK YOU 0-0

    Predictions:

Nu'maaN Vs. MC Guttso: This should be the battle of all battles! Both emcees always come very strong and always put forth the upmost effort, I see Nu’maaN winning this by a split atom.

nO gOoD! Vs. Lucifa: good luck in Round 2 Loose Cipher, I anticipate this will be down to the wire. Good Luck Bro!

Fac3 Vs. Atreyu: This I see as runner up for BOTW, as both emcees come strong with it, with the recent improvements Fac3 has made I see him winning this.

Restproof Vs. Link Gash: another very close battle I predict, due to a lack of material from Rest, I can only go on what I’ve seen. With that being said I see Link edging this one out.

Rem lynxis Vs. Soull: I see Soull taking this one, but Rem is not to be underestimated.

Pain Vs. ShadowWarriorfs: Another tough week for Shadow, as it appears this kid never gets a break. I foresee pain winning this one, but Shadow definitely has the parts to pull an upset.

Eternalpath Vs. Dirtboy69: Two new competitors to the league, but I see Eternalpath taking this one to give Dirt the experience needed to excel in the league.

Baysick Vs. Got life?: I haven’t seen anything from these two since the great wall of china was built, so my hands are in the air on this one.

Cereal Killer Vs. P.S. F.UCK YOU: I haven’t seen any from these two either, so this one could go either way.

    Conclusion

It looks like this will be an amazing week to come. With some of the most anticipated battles in quite some time. Good Luck everyone!

On that note I’ll end this weeks Magazine with a quote

"..Don’t ask a writer what he’s working on. It’s like asking someone with cancer on the progress of his disease.."

    Peace!!

I took it upon myself to start it, as I noticed the mods very busy. Ace approved me writing this weeks mag, and as far as the actual posting it, maybe my mod status migrated to the RSTL, lol I dunno.
