    Prediction's
    P4P- By OmegaMan
    Interview w/ T.a.C.
    Eye Candy

Welcome story teller's to the prestigious RSTL of week 40!
The Battle Field's Weild much more carnage for us this week,
With Champ IamBent holding onto his title against the former
Champ Shaddowarriorfs. T.a.C takes a Hard Loss against InkWell.
Whome has made him self noticable within the prevoius week's working
him self to a contender spot. The most tragic thing this week, besides
gramur losing to me is the fact that RIOT "NO SHOWED" subsequently he
get's A INDEFINITE BAN from the league. Now I tried to pull some strings and
bargain for my boy, so we may be able to see him in the tourney and next season.
I just hope everything work's out well for riot aka "murderous key's"..
I also want to take this time out to nod my head at IamBent for his magnificent
creation. T.a.C. Shaddow and I have been talking about it, and we all want to
give a warm deep appreciative thank's to all the member's in the league.
without yawl, the league wouldn't be what it is right now. WE MADE THIS!!!

    Mag -n- a Movie

    lyricalpriest(1-2) vs 10. Gramur(0-1)**Redemption**
battle tied 3-3. after voting deduction LP wins 3 to -1

Lpree step's into this match-up extremely cocky, which was verrrrry
foolish on his part.. he almost got smoked by gram in this abstract match
up... this match up was "classic" narrative element's vs. commercialized creative
concept's.. all I can say is i started my verse with no direction. and last minute
i got that tookie idea.. i tried to connect it all.. i wanted so much more, but coudln't
deliver what i felt was worthy enough.. i'm suprised i won this actually.. good job gram!
    i get redemption....

    [Week 39] [Champ] C. IAmBent(7-2) vs 2. ShadowWarriorfs(25-12)**Champ's Collide**
Bent wins 5-1. 5-0 after deductions

In this dual, both writer's give us a funtacular display of narrative expertise.
IamBent manages to retain his title as Champ** as Shaddowwarriorfs wasn't capable
of re-claiming the belt. But shad went in hard tho, and of course presented to us a
un-flawed timeless classic.. But the CHAMPION gave us a double dose of perfection, time capturing
legenedary "classicness" of no reproach. If IamBent deliver's another memorable verse like this
next week.. well let's just say, he will!!! I think he will have proven to the league .. the CHAMP
    AINT NOTHIN TO FUCK WITH!!!!

[Contender] 3. T.a.C(4-3) vs 4. The Inkwell(1-0) **Iron Man Match**
Ink wins 4-2. after voting deductions he wins 4-0

BOTH writer's here described to a T What it mean's to develope a story here with two very
entertaining verses. I know for a fact T.a.C. really wanted to win this week and maintain
momentum from his victory over me(LP), but the INK wasn't havin' it!!! This here was a substance
    vs. sustenance prime example.

the omega man(1-0) vs 6. Coup d'etat(1-0)**TITAN's Qaurrell**
    Coup wins 4-0

Two of the most talented writer's in the league qaurrell in the arena this week
and demonstrate what it mean's to be a writing warrior! Omega over shoot's this week
and attempt's to impress the reader's with profound word choice, but it ended up over-kill..
coup managed to really develope a FAST MOVING ACTION PACKED narration that drew the readers in
and never let them go..both writer's proved to the league that THEY: are of the pantheon of titan's!!
they do hold the "glow" they possess the "juice" .. they are warriors they are story tellers..
they are one of a kind...

    Fairydance2000(11-6) vs 8. Cereal_Killer(1-1) **friendly family competition**
CK wins 4-2. after voting deduction CK wins 0 to -2

OH NO!! i coudn't settle to watch this go down as CK and Fairy dance sqaure off
in some "Friendly family competition". I think this was a rather close math-up and CK managed
to cross the finish line seconds before fairy..Both took old stories and revamped them this week,
good job to both writer's for properly entertaining the league "critics".

    Riot(0-1) vs 12. nom is dull.(7-1)
    nom wins by no show

riot's a ol pussy ass bitch! and Nom is bout to get Nom Nom'd on in the RSTL this week by me..
    that is all!!!

    -jk- <3's too you both

    -Face-(0-0) vs 14. Joro(0-0) vs 15. Cigma(0-0)
    Cigma wins by no show

what a dissappointment.. cigma did his thing tho.. look out for him this week yawl!

    PREDICTIONS: by Coup d'état

    Offical RSTL predictions WEEK 40

    ShadowWarriorfs vs Cigma
    victory: ShadowWarriorfs

    Synopsis:
Now here is a classic line up. The two are certainly worthy of another as an adversary. Cigma showed us exactly what he is about with his last weeks verse. He writes with a sharp sense of what he wants his reader to feel or experience. Sometimes it's in childhood wonder at the world and others it's just a very small scale situation: Like a tear drop. You never know what you'll get. This will all look against against ShadowWarriorfs's story control. Shad will deliver quality all day long, so this all hinges on Cigmas day. Is it his day?

Cigma is probably the deeper writer but Shad is probably the most consistant...and that pays off over the long run. If Cigma wins, he will have shown us all why he is so damned revered.

    must see.

    Cereal_Killer vs Coup d'état
    victory: Coup d'état

    Synopsis:
First, to all those unfamiliar: heres a quick little history lesson. A few months ago Cereal_Killer challenged me for the belt in the champion match. Verses were worthy, votes were split. CK got the story head vote and I got the poetic head vote. That day there was one more story head than poetic head. Ck won. I raged.

It did not end there. I took my case to the lounge, augured for pages. Shadow, in mockery writes his verse around the issue, slamming and making fun of me. He beat Nom with that verse that next week and he resined in embarrassment. That was the only time Shadow beat Nom this season. I never fully got my swag back and ever since the battle CK has been the Lord Captain Commander of the RSTL.

That battle sent shock waves around the RSTL.

This is my revenge. Cereal_Killer will be prepared I'm sure of it. He had just better use high caliber bullets, because I am armed to the teeth in Weapons of Cereal_Killer Destruction, cast from explosive lyrical percussions you are all about to see this week.

    BOTW..

    TheInkwell vs IAmBent
    victory: TheInkwell

    Synopsis:
When thinking about this Championship match you really have to think in black and white. Both are capable, both have a good sense of balance in their verses- so any comparison would be trivial. On that day this will be decided by who simply has a more engaging verse according to each voter.

Bent had the better verse last week. Inkwells' was just enough to advance.

With Ink writing with a fresh pair of legs I think he will have a slight bounce in his step over Bent...but who knows, Bent does have that swagger. This will be a break-dance match...ryhmes will be in high supply but who will flesh out the best entertainment ?

    High Potential here.

    Fairydance2000 vs Edicius
    victory: Fairydance2000

    Synopsis:
Edicius has a peculiar name in his signature...take a look. It says Word Perfect. Now if memory serves correct, I recall WP being an absolute assassin in the league 2 years ago. If this is correct Fairydance2000 might be entering the viper pit and being not aware of it. If not, then let's see something. Please show up.

Intriguing questions about this match instantly present themselves, which focuses the light on Fairy's response. I'm looking forward to a great one this week. After all, and at the very least, you can not slack against an unknown. Watch for Fairy to drop jaws.

    T.a.C. vs the omega man
    victory: T.a.C

    Synopsis:
the omega man came off a tough loss last week in an important match. His verse was very good but wasn't enough to win...this will really make his approach this week against T.a.C. a focal point. How bad was the loss. Shut out. Look to see some
characteristic style changes this week in attempt to stem off T.a.C's recent surging.

Something is clicking right for T.a.C. His improvement is exponential and I think it fair to say that this is a must win for both. T.a.C needs a victory over a real poetic head, because to do that all elements were certainly firing well. This match will prove that. For TOM this will be for validation.

I recommend this match to all the analyzers out there.

    LyricalPriest vs nom is dull.
    victory: nom is dull.

    Synopsis:
Ouch. LyricalPriest has zero chance of winning ths. He may as well go off the deep end this week and send an SOS while sinking....Or should he ? On the surface this looks like an already open and shut case. Nom shows up and leaves +1 but there a plenty of great underdog stories and this may be one of them. LP is Rudy.

Look for him to really focus and give a verse true to his critics and show with story proper. It's a certain that nom will come soft spoken and melodramatic, gloomy and even gut wrenching this week. If LP knows this he should counter with contrast....know your enemy.

Story will win this. Nom is a Giant. Lyericalpriest will have to have the verse of his career and these are the facts. Luckily LP should be locked and loaded.

    Must see.

    Pound 4 Pound Rankings

    By: OmegaMan

    1. Coup d’etat(2-0)
Coup has been pretty consistent in his career as the RSTL's leading poetic illusionist. The way he can twist words and develop imagery while still maintaining a structured story has really earned him the title of Pound 4 Pound king. The nail was placed in the coffin when he won by unanimous decision against possible Pound 4 Pound candidate The Omega Man. In a poetic war of words Coup managed to secure the win by stepping out of his usual writing habits and developed a new strategy that he was sure would take him to victory. Keep an eye on this guy

    2. Cereal_Killer(2-1)
CK has proved himself time and time again in this league to be one of the top storytellers. After winning the title in Week 27 against Fairydance2000 he held on to it strong for five weeks before retiring the belt. He came back a week later to start to the top once again. After having a devastating split decision loss to ShadowWarriorfs he sought to not allow that to happen again and came with the major heat against a familiar face, Fairydance2000. His poetic ability that captivates readers and pulls them into the story is what really makes CK shine as a top premier competitor in this league. He will get a chance to really test his status against his Pound 4 Pound equal this week, be sure to check it out.

    3. IAmBent(8-2)|Champ|

    Interview w/ T.a.C.
    By: LP

1:) First and foremost I want to say thank's for giving me this spot on the mag and in the league.. Mean's more then words can describe... I See your doing big thing's in the RBL tourney RBL league and RSTL.. Along with Cypha's and Open Mic's. Have you always been such a avid writer?

I’m jus that motherfucker. Lmao. Nah. I’ve always been into writing. When I was like 7 or 8 I started writing country songs. I started by copying the lyrics to songs I knew. Eventually tried my own. As I got older and more into hiphop I started writing my own. I was fuckin awful though. I made Soulja Boy look like a lyrical genius. I know I’ve improved since coming to this site in 08, though I still don’t think I’m that dope. I just have a lot of free time and a passion for hiphop, lol.

2:) When did you write your first "rap" type lyrical composition?

Oh shit. I’d go with 1999 or 2000. I was 9 or 10. I wanna say I was bagging on some kids I didn’t like at school. But I actually cannot remember. I mostly just fucked around, scribbling simply ass rhymes in my notebook. Talking all this wigger, tough guy shit I never lived. Smh.

3:) HAHA THAT'S HOW I STARTED EXCEPT. not with the country but rap. Any special Lady's in your eye sight's these days'?

Lol. I knew something like this was coming. Offline I’m a shy, pretty quiet guy, so my games pretty minimal. But we’ll see. Fuck pulling a rabbit out the hat, I’m pulling a playboy bunny.

4:) AND I BELIEVE U WILL What do you think the leagues' missing?

People. Lol. Nah, but what we’re missing is that one Big personality who makes shit interesting. We have a lot of cool people, and for the most part it seems everyone gets a long. But I think we need that one person to go against the grain. GL? was great at that. Aside from the fact he nearly made quite a few of our posters wanna slit their wrist. He kept people coming back. They wanted to beat him. Lounge threads were 200+ posts every week. Thing is though, they have to be good at doing it too. Jowelz had the asshole part down, but it wasn’t the same. Equal to that, I think what we need is an older head, whos still respected by the older “legends” who can convince them to come show up. But this older head needs to not be an egomaniac. At this point, I don’t see us getting either, sadly.

5:) The league need's some one like me or GL? to bring life into the lounge. Who are some other lounge "shocker's" that you remember from the past that I or other people may not know about or don't remember that you wish would grace us with their humor?

You and GL? were pretty good at it. Joro was good at pissing people off. Obviously a little too good since I banned him from the league. Fucker convinces me to let him back, then he no shows. Aside from him, GL? and you(LP), I cant really think of anyone. Anyone who reads this and thinks why am I naming you, they need to go back and check the impact you had on the RSTL and RBL. When you left both they both went downhill. Not sure if it was just a coincidence or what. Both took a nose dive after you left. Which is confusing, cuz you aren’t even that good. Kidding.

6:) Who's your favorite writer in the league as of right now?

Toss up between CK, nom and Shadow. All three of them come with some really dope shit most of the time.

7:) Who's delivery do you try to emulate when writing rap rhymes?

As most people know, I’m a huge Eminem and Tech N9ne fan. I’d like to say I model my style after both of them.

8:) what sort's of entertainment strike your fancy?

Well, I used to love to spend the day watching porn and eating cheetos. Then my thingy turned orange. So I moved on from that. Honestly, I LOVE baseball. During the season that is mostly what my life revolves around. I usually fall asleep watching MLB network. Wake up watching it. I’m obsessed. A close second is music. I listen to a lot of rap, rock and country, depending on my mood. I’m also in to shows like the Simpsons, King of the Hill, and Family Guy before it started to suck.

**Who would you kill in the league?

Shadow, because I can never beat that gay ass, faggot ass, lame ass, dork ass, male ass loving asshole.

**Who would you want to see get raped in the league?

Raped literally or raped in a battle? Literally, I don’t wanna watch anyone here get raped. I aint gay, nigga. In a battle, I wanna see everyone get raped by me. I will win the title at least once this season. Book it.

**where you as nervous as I was over if you'd get ur powder blue or not?

Haha. It wasn’t that serious. The main reason I wanted it back was for the ability to read who makes tags. And to ban people I don’t like. Yeah, to all the readers, You better stay on my good side, because I will ban you. And I wont lose any sleep over it. Motherfuckers, I’ll ban you guys, then take my moms out for dinner. That’s how heartless I am. Lol

    good mag :)

TaC I'm not surprised your first writing habits were lyrical...you can deff. seem those very traits today in your work. good interview

    @nom, lol

I like the p4p section, can't say I disagree with it this week eiter..hahahaha

@tom , what are you doing with the section, is it a recurring thing ? I think it is interesting.

last thing, I don't think there is a certain person to make the league higher in number. It's simply ones passion for writing...and there is no shortage of writers, despite what the older timers here may believe.

    TaC was hilarious

I too am a fan of the ball and the bats.

Power Ranking was a neat feature, imma watch the vids when i get a chance no doubt

Recaps were great, energetic, and funny. Coup's predictions are incisive as hell, and it got real dope when you brought the history lesson, for those of us "newer" to the league, cuz that's stuff we never heard.

the girls look fine, stacey dash is crazy, and Pam is nice too

I have written 1/3 of my verse. My lucky number was rather mean to me this week, so I have my work cut out for me.

Once again fantastic mag, it keeps getting stronger
